Racers are at a massive disadvantage, especially in any class that isn't S which is why they usually use these cheesy tactics like going through the same gas station or intentionally running off the track to avoid people trying to slam into you from behind in corners or to go slightly off track to manually reset to avoid cops. This is an issue but I can totally get why racers do it because that is literally the only way to fight back against cops, especially when someone has the EMP lock on you because if that EMP hits you you are effectively just fcked, nothing you can do literally unable to move for a solid 5-6 seconds which is why when the lock happens people run off the track to get rid of it.
The thing with this mode in general is the fact that they give the cops a wayyyy bigger advantage then the racers since they bring a bigger impact then how racers would try whenever they ram the cops and that just seems unfair…
There’s no way the cops have a bigger advantage, especially on this race there are so many gas stations that it’s almost impossible to shut down a decent racer. Because they’ll keep repairing their damage.

Like the level of inconsistency that the mode has between the cops and the racers are just not enough to be fairly balanced for everyone to enjoy…
To add on to this, I’ve witnessed cop players placing spike stripes onto gas stations which makes it even more difficult for players on the racer side to escaped from them and most of them always end up getting busted by the minute they start the pursuit.

One thing most racers are finding out about is the fact that you’re able to abuse the “reset to track” to let the repair kit fully heal you. I came across this when I was going for the (bust 2 racers in single playlist) which felt impossible but I still got it. But a racer can basically run off track when there low hp to get the repair kit to register.
I wish they made the repair kit like heat where you can tap a button and your car can get half the health back, but it's so stupid on unbound because you have the meet a certain condition before the repair is activated.
when racers are under the effect of an EMP or Spike Strip, they should not be allowed to reset either by manually or by going off the map. it is so unfair that i am parkbusting them and they just press reset. Going off the map for a reset should damage their car so there is a puishment for that slimy worm playstyle. Manual reseting should be removed completely. on the other hand, cop teleporting should be limited
You can’t really get upset about a player going through the same gas station over and over again when the repair kits barely work and we have no pursuit tech like the game mode is towards cops having the total advantage against racers. Not to mention the game mode isn’t really 414 it’s really four against 30. The cops basically are all S plus tier plus any other AI cops boxing them in
Problem is, that racers do not have any countermeasures against Cop tech. And as you state it, yeah, the auxiliary items in this mode are nearly useless.
Also, if going to the gas station over and over again is a cheesy strategy then using an infinite spawn method, infinite lives is also cheesy as well. Not to mention when cops get taken out they just respond when a racer gets taken out they turn into a cop that’s also cheesy. That’s even worse
It would make more sense if when a cop player wrecks, they should just be in spectate mode like how Hot Pursuit did. But I can see why that won't be added as a feature in Unbound. The mode just needs alot of fixes, balances, and additions and it can feel fun for both sides.

I have. But there is a way to bait the opponent sometimes to reset and get ready for when they respawn at the right timing. Especially when they're at critical.

Racers: unlimited repair but it doesn't fix the tires if popped Cops: UNLIMITED NITROUS, UNLIMITED REDEPLOY, UNLIMITED LIVES, UNLIMITED PURSUIT TECH, ASSISTANCE FROM AI POLICE AND THE POLICE ARE JUST FASTER THAN THE RACERS IN GENERAL. I can seriously go into debt on how overpowered the police are and how Petty players can be because trust there are some petty people out there who will purposely wait for you just so they can only get you as a racer. I've been in that situation way too many times and it's honestly annoying, just let me play the game okay police? It's A class I'm not going to be going that fast so why are you wasting your time trying to bust me not even 10% into the race? And don't get me started on how literally a vast majority of the people who play police only use the Porsche. After a week of the new update I haven't seen a single crown Vic or a heavy unit get picked willingly, there are some exceptions of course but it's mainly the Porsche😤 you can't outrun it in A or A+ class and you barely get away from it. Maybe if you use EMP and not just ESF with a Porsche like literally over half of the police players, you most definitely would have caught him because with all of the AI blocking his other angles it would have been easier for y'all to close the gap. Only free roam has cooldowns for the repair shops. Gauntlets and Hot Pursuits don't have a cooldown.
You clearly haven't seen racers abusing respawns. That ruins Hot Pursuit.
I have. But there is a way to bait the opponent sometimes to reset and get ready for when they respawn at the right timing. Especially when they're at critical.
