The reality is Amitabh Bacchan did spoil his son's life by forcing him to come into cinema industry as an actor. And here is the end result - Abhishek's life was ruined in the film industry and Amitabh now has to do advertisements of underwear and laxatives in order to make a living. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Why is Abhishek Bachchan never given the credit he deserves? I agree Madhawan acts well too but that does not mean only he should be paid compliments. Honestly, this would have been just half of a film without Abhishek.
Abhishek Bachchan is a starkid, good actor but a flop one. If people always compare Abhishek Bachchan with Amitabh Bachchan then he'll be flop. Same with Bobby Deol, he's starkid, good actor but when compared to Dharmendra he becomes flop. But other flop starkids like Tusshar Kapoor, Uday Chopra, Arjun Kapoor,Vivek Oberoi.etc. don't even know acting.
Madhavan is an outsider, good actor but underrated.

This whole scene is well written and executed. Abhishek talks to Mithun but Mithun talks only to Madhavan. The moving camera. Vidya's confused expression and Abhishek's expressive response. Realistic and yet, with that last dialogue, filmy.

The whole scene goes to madhavan..he was magical in this scene..the honesty in his delivery was beautiful. But then comes the last dailouges "Guru bhai se ladna toh guru bhai banke, or Guru bhai ek he hai"... that one dailouge and how it has been delivered takes your whole attention and you forget about what madhavan did in that scene. Brilliant dailouge delivery by abhishek bachchan..

Abhishek Bachchan owns this film, don’t forget that. His greatest performance to date.
Since Madhavan was playing character of a journalist, his dialogues were intense enough to level up his performance. But particularly in this scene Abhishek Bachchan played comparatively low key whose level of performance could only be uplifted purely by acting skill and in my opinion he did it quite well at least better than his dad's stage-like performance.

This movie is very good in a lot of the departments. The screenplay, acting, music etc are obvious. The place where it ascends from just another "good movie" is in its attention to details. The cinematography, the props, costumes, the set designs and lighting just make it feel so natural and effortless. Truly props to the people who worked in these!
