Update: only a few hours after writing the comment above, I learned that I have been diagnosed with Celiac’s Disease. As a teenager, this is pretty daunting for me. I have to go do a procedure to confirm this- that’s what I’m most worried about. But now I know why this song stood out to me. It’s straight from God, because he knew I would need it at this time. Praise the Lord
Update: I went for my procedure/scope. I was so blessed to have such kind nurses and surgeons look after me while this was being done. I was still quite nervous, but it was quick and relatively painless (except for the IV and disgusting numbing spray) I remember just before falling asleep, thinking to myself: “well.. I’m in God’s hands now” and I fell asleep peacefully. I’m so relieved that it’s over and behind me now and I’m thankful God was with me the whole time 🤍

These praying hands used to rest on my grandpa's desk or his bookshelf... ive never forgotten those bronze praying hands as long as ive lived and my 2nd child and my first son was my grandpa's little angel...he passed while I was expecting my baby boy... and I believe my little boy carries an important piece of my grandpa and our family history...he was the first understanding I really had of legacy and the significance of where we come from and what it means about where we are going... and what great things we will do with our time our hearts our hands and our lives... my baby boy almost didn't make it as soon as he started...but God had other plans for him... noone really knows how much I thank God every single day for saving my sons... and although many may of thought me selfish or jealous or envious of all of those people that were gifted beautiful children while I was still crying for my one true love and to birth our own babies after marriage of course...I assure you it wasnt any of those things...I just knew how amazing my children are and what kind of miracle childbirth really is... I knew after baby number 3 that it is only by the grace of God that such amazing little beings are gifted to us... god trusted me to be their mom...to love and protect them...to grow them into our tomorrow... I took his trust very seriously...I took my job very serious... and as hard as that job has been...I wouldn't have changed a thing... my sons struggling right along side their mom will forever remind them that a woman deserves to be loved properly...respected and cherished... and in the bible it states that whatsoever a man provide for a woman she will multiply... it is the living word and as difficult as the first portion of my life has been...it has been a true testament to God's grace and his glory...Amen
