Also, I can hear the blowoff valve on my octavia 1.8 dumping the boost on low RPMs meaning you have a lot of spare turbo pressure, but the map isn't allowing it to be used, which is a shame. in stock form, on superb 4x4 this has 320nm and 180 horses. with a tune, you get to 240 horses and 360/370nm. Slap the IS38 on it and you get 300+ horses. Sure, if you have dsg, that isn't really possible, not sure how the manual would hold up, but that is easier to upgrade to a stronger clutch.

@@Skurbiak Przejęzyczenie. Nie instrukcji tylko z cennika na dole, jak kupowałem B8 1.8 TSI , były wyszczególnione osiągi. Dokładnie tak jak napisałem. Natomiast i tak było to lepiej niż konkurencja np. Mondeo Ecoboost 203 KM do setki w 8,5. Patrzyłem tylko benzyny. 7,7 s do100 km/h chyba dotyczy Diesla 190 KM ale powyżej setki wychodzi na korzyść 1.8 TSI. Z resztą nieważne :)

A to ma pewnie cvt. To kolega ma mój Lexus z takim motorem i na papierze dane spoko ale wrażenie z przyspieszania przez ten napęd suabe
Myślę, że jak by założyć mu coś szerszego niż 215 to by spokojnie osiągnął ok 7,7-7,8. Auto ma spory potencjał tylko trochę się ślizga przy ruszaniu.

this engine badly needs a tune when in stock form. 100hp per litre is just the start for this engine.
