Psychedelic’s definitely have potential to deal with mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, I would like to try them again but it’s just so hard to source here
So about few hours ago, my friend was explaining me about how his trip was and how it changed his life in terms of taking decision and having more clarity in things he does. He almost covered most of the stuffs what you have mentioned and it is crazy how beautiful and powerful our minds are how it gets transformed due to such natural substances. I was curious after our talk and wanted check some videos about it, I'm glad I found this video.

One thing I want to highlight about your experience and words is that you frequently return to the concept of agency. You realized at multiple points in your trip that you had a level of agency over yourself that you had not previously realized. You realized that you could control the emotions being imparted upon you by your surroundings. This is something that I have found to be true about all of my many psychedelic experiences. I get this very sober feeling where I realize that I have power over my situation in a way that I hadn't given myself credit for, and that I could change things and change myself. It is like stepping out of first person perspective into third person perspective, where you can view your own narrative from one step removed. Psychedelics allow you to circumvent the default programming running on the circuitry of your mind. I think this offers us tremendous power over ourselves and our minds.
I fully agree. It is really interesting and the psychedelics can be a great teacher or a great way to open up your mind to new knowledge (or to relearn knowledge)

I figure you can take it at any age and I guess there isnt too many negative aspects from doing it unless you had an allergy maybe. Ah thank you so much! Yes for sure you can always try something new. Only our body age our soul and mind just gain more knowledge. So if you feel prepared and aligned then maybe you should give it a try and maybe you will have a beautiful experience like I did.
"Bad trips" aren't necessarily bad, per se, they tend to be trips in which your mind finally allows itself to confront and acknowledge something unpleasant or emotional, etc. And almost without fail, they tend to be very therapeutic. When you come out of one of these, you feel resolved and ready to move on.
Yes, I fully understand what you mean. I honestly wasn't ready for a bad trip back then and that's why I decided to focus on the good and try to avoid the 'bad corner'. However today I feel more than ready to dive into the 'bad trips' (here I mean the stuff with my dad and other things from my past) and use it - as you describe - as a therapeutic cleanse/session. I am happy that I listen to myself and acknowledged what I wasn't ready for back then but now I'm looking forward to dive into it. And one day I'll have the right opportunity to do it and then I'll manifest it

I appreciate you sharing this experience you have had. I've never been someone to do mushrooms. I don't think I've ever seen myself in a situation where I felt comfortable doing it and also trusting those around me that have offered before. I had no idea that there was a place in Mexico for this experience. I did it once at a park at night and had a "creepy" trip. Everything creeped me out. If I go to Mexico, I would do it there, it seems like a better, more spiritual spot. Wow the view from the balconies is amazing! It looks like you're above the clouds. My vision also changed. But things were breathing and moving.
Ah I see! I can imagine how they will reinforce the feeling of feeling creeped out in that situation. But they are really beautiful teachers too. Mexico is actually a lot about shrooms they have soooo much knowledge about plant medicin that many in the west take for granted. But yes definitely try it in San Jose if you're ever there!
The hostel has a beautiful view. Sad, it was not the magic mushroom season when you guys arrived. The crux I am getting is moving towards spiritualism. Enjoyed the video.

Yours is especially of great value, because it uncovers a lot of wisdom that can be gained from such an experience. Some many years ago I tried to cultivate magic mushrooms, never ever was on a real trip, because I never had enough funghi available, but had an encounter with god at that time and a true enlightenment experience. Now I'll seek the experience again, after having done a lot of spiritual work. One special question: The sound of your voice is one of the best qualities I ever heard. Your first lesson is you have no control in that space. On of the cathartic aspects of the whole thing is you MUST let go. Your strapped in, shadow work is eminent.
It's amazing I took the durumbe mushrooms of San Jose Del Pacifico while I was there last April and my description I have been able to come up with is almost identical to yours. Down to the detail of the messages from the sun and the sky changing colors. My vision was like high definition. The trees were dancing for the sun and waving for the the sun. The small flies that were almost microscopic but were swarming in small clouds at the top of each plant were flying in geometric shapes. Very cool how consistent the effects are between different individuals.

@@FredsChannel I do have a lot of experience with shrooms. About 20 years since I first tried them and I have tried many varieties. I have to say these durumbes, the land slide mushrooms, from the mountains of Oaxaca are unique in their clarity and intensity combo. I have had intense trips with not as much clarity and some trips that were barely perceivable. But these one you chose for you first try are probably the most clear and seem to have an inner intelligence to them that is beyond any other shrooms I have tried. My friend who lives here in the states but is from Oaxaca told me , " these shrooms make what we get in the states seem like toys. These ones you can talk to and ask questions and they reply" which I found to be true...they have a lot of wisdom within.
The object is to give in to the medicine and let her show you what you need to see. Not trying to control the experience. It is always beautiful but sometimes terrifyingly beautiful. Always a lesson if you listen.
Yes indeed! I gave in to the medicine but at the same time I experienced this ‘gray corner’ that I chose not to dive into. Because honestly I was not ready yet. However I feel ready now and would actually love to try and dive into it even though I now it might be really frighting. The plant medicine is amazing and something in definitely going to experience more of and learn more from. Wish you a beautiful day!

Hi, I was curious when you said that you tried very hard to control the experience, when you didn’t like seeing the plants dying for example? I have heard the opposite advice which is to just go with it and be very open to whatever comes up and that bad trips happen when we try to resist. Do you care to comment on this? Yes I fully agree. We shouldn't try to control it, fight it or panic. So what I meant was not that I tried to control it. But because I could feel that I was not yet ready to take the 'bad trip' that specific corner presented to me. So I focused on the beautiful flowers, reconnected with the love within me and the magic energy around me. Always staying fully calm and open. By focusing on my love and allowing things to happen my view changed back to dancing flowers. So I don't advertise for trying to control the experience, but if you feel that you are starting to be led in a direction that you don't like then you can do like me: focus on love, staying calm, and knowing that it's just a 'game' so whatever happens is just 'fun' and part of the game. I hope that makes sense :)

Can't help but think this video has bad information for first time trippers. I know everyone is different but the worst thing you can do is fight for control. From personal experience I can say you got lucky. Next time I would suggest not ignoring anything. Death is part of life and can be so beautiful when you are in an altered state
I agree. You shouldn’t fight for control while being on psychedelics. But try and pay attention to what I mention. I didn’t fight for control and I don’t suggest anybody to try and fight for control. I simply just dived into love, that’s it. I was honestly not ready to meet what was trying to ‘meet me’ while on the shrooms, and I was aware of this. So instead of trying to meet it and probably have ended up with a bad trip, I simply just gathered my energy around love and happy energy. No fighting. Just simply feeling love and good energy and let that guide my trip instead.

Thank you so much for this really great insightful description. Right now I am looking at many of thoses. Yours is especially of great value, because it uncovers a lot of wisdom that can be gained from such an experience. Some many years ago I tried to cultivate magic mushrooms, never ever was on a real trip, because I never had enough funghi available, but had an encounter with god at that time and a true enlightenment experience.
Now I'll seek the experience again, after having done a lot of spiritual work.
One special question: The sound of your voice is one of the best qualities I ever heard. With Bose Quiet Comfort Headphone it is ultra well placed in 3D, what was the microphone you were using? in case you could "enlighten" me, I would be happy.

It's amazing I took the durumbe mushrooms of San Jose Del Pacifico while I was there last April and my description I have been able to come up with is almost identical to yours. Down to the detail of the messages from the sun and the sky changing colors. My vision was like high definition. The trees were dancing for the sun and waving for the the sun. The small flies that were almost microscopic but were swarming in small clouds at the top of each plant were flying in geometric shapes. Very cool how consistent the effects are between different individuals.

@@FredsChannel I do have a lot of experience with shrooms. About 20 years since I first tried them and I have tried many varieties. I have to say these durumbes, the land slide mushrooms, from the mountains of Oaxaca are unique in their clarity and intensity combo. I have had intense trips with not as much clarity and some trips that were barely perceivable. But these one you chose for you first try are probably the most clear and seem to have an inner intelligence to them that is beyond any other shrooms I have tried. My friend who lives here in the states but is from Oaxaca told me , " these shrooms make what we get in the states seem like toys. These ones you can talk to and ask questions and they reply" which I found to be true...they have a lot of wisdom within.
The object is to give in to the medicine and let her show you what you need to see. Not trying to control the experience. It is always beautiful but sometimes terrifyingly beautiful. Always a lesson if you listen.
Yes indeed! I gave in to the medicine but at the same time I experienced this ‘gray corner’ that I chose not to dive into. Because honestly I was not ready yet. However I feel ready now and would actually love to try and dive into it even though I now it might be really frighting. The plant medicine is amazing and something in definitely going to experience more of and learn more from. Wish you a beautiful day!

Hi, I was curious when you said that you tried very hard to control the experience, when you didn’t like seeing the plants dying for example? I have heard the opposite advice which is to just go with it and be very open to whatever comes up and that bad trips happen when we try to resist. Do you care to comment on this? Thank you for sharing your experience!
Yes I fully agree. We shouldn't try to control it, fight it or panic. So what I meant was not that I tried to control it. But because I could feel that I was not yet ready to take the 'bad trip' that specific corner presented to me. So I focused on the beautiful flowers, reconnected with the love within me and the magic energy around me. Always staying fully calm and open. By focusing on my love and allowing things to happen my view changed back to dancing flowers. So I don't advertise for trying to control the experience, but if you feel that you are starting to be led in a direction that you don't like then you can do like me: focus on love, staying calm, and knowing that it's just a 'game' so whatever happens is just 'fun' and part of the game. I hope that makes sense :)

Can't help but think this video has bad information for first time trippers. I know everyone is different but the worst thing you can do is fight for control. From personal experience I can say you got lucky. Next time I would suggest not ignoring anything. Death is part of life and can be so beautiful when you are in an altered state
I agree. You shouldn’t fight for control while being on psychedelics. But try and pay attention to what I mention. I didn’t fight for control and I don’t suggest anybody to try and fight for control. I simply just dived into love, that’s it. I was honestly not ready to meet what was trying to ‘meet me’ while on the shrooms, and I was aware of this. So instead of trying to meet it and probably have ended up with a bad trip, I simply just gathered my energy around love and happy energy. No fighting. Just simply feeling love and good energy and let that guide my trip instead.
