you can only update from mastercam.2019 up to,,,
can not mcam.2018 , 2018, X9....
if you want update from mcam.2018 version and below ,,
so I think you need update to mcam.2019 or 2020 first , then up to mcam.2022 ...is ok

I have demo version of 2022 I'm learning multiaxis I need machine file but nt able to get one

can only update files in 3 versions closest to each other,
you need to go slowly, can't go from X5 to 2022 in one go,
