Sandy Hook National Rec. Area - Exploring Abandoned Forts (Vlog)

Located at the top of the New Jersey Shore, Sandy Hook has served many purposes over the centuries. Most people go there now for recreation (swimming, biking, walking, etc.), but few are aware of the peninsula's storied history as a military installation. This vlog focuses on those aspects with inside tours of the facilities. The two lighthouses are also featured. I filmed this with my wife and son late in the summer of 2016.

Randy, Always something interesting to see on the coast. I enjoy the lighthouses the most, but these batteries are interesting. We have many of them on the west coast too. great tour!
