I can understand why some fans get annoyed or offended by the stories about Elvis' private life, but let's face it - it is human nature to be curious/interested in how other people live, especially 'the rich and famous'. You only have to look at the media - newspapers, magazines, the internet - all full of stories about famous people. That is what sells. In the case of Elvis, I think most of his fans (including me) love him so much he is a big part of their life, so it is natural they want to learn all they can about him, even his sex life😮🙂😄😍😛

After bringing Priscilla to Memphis from Germany at age 14/15, Elvis was forced to marry her, I believe by her Dad. I am almost positive this is what happened. I do know Elvis told several people he "did not" want to go through with the marriage, but he had no choice as he knew Priscilla's Father would have destroyed his career.

Hello, I saw Elvis when I was in Las Vegas back in the 1970's I forgot which year , he was at the Hilton Hotel, we sat in the upper part of the show room ( what do you all it ? ). After the show we could not find a hotel room, everything was booked up so we had to sleep in my car along the highway at a car rest stop....in those days I had a 1964 Ford, John from North Carolina.
I have already commented on this issue. But suddenly something occured into my mind. He used to take phone numbers of women. But did he really call them back? The Elvis researchers can only throw light on this issue. Or Mr. Elvis Presley wanted to study the character of the women? Who knows? Did he want to see how many women had the guts to say no to him? I think it was incredibly hard for Elvis to be faithful and Priscilla herself said women literally threw themselves at him, so he was constantly tempted! As for Barbara Leigh's part, I mean, he was Elvis, and very much in his prime physically. I don't think there were was a lot of morality in that situation in time and space.
Priscilla gets bashed all the time, first because she married Elvis, then because she cheated on him and they divorced. This was ELVIS PRESLEY! She was naive and young when they met and she thought she could be his wife forever but she got a little tired of being left behind when he went on tour and lived like a single man! So it ALL makes sense to me, everything that happened.
One thing is certain: Elvis HAD to have a woman by his side. That's a fact. So while I totally get why Barbara Leigh had an affair with him, I also get why Priscilla began having affairs! Elvis was not cut out for monogamy.

Hello, I saw Elvis when I was in Las Vegas back in the 1970's I forgot which year , he was at the Hilton Hotel, we sat in the upper part of the show room ( what do you all it ? ). After the show we could not find a hotel room, everything was booked up so we had to sleep in my car along the highway at a car rest stop....in those days I had a 1964 Ford, John from North Carolina.
I have already commented on this issue. But suddenly something occured into my mind. He used to take phone numbers of women. But did he really call them back? The Elvis researchers can only throw light on this issue. Or Mr. Elvis Presley wanted to study the character of the women? Who knows? Did he want to see how many women had the guts to say no to him? Men also respect those women who have strong principles.

I read this book. It was very good. She was juggling 3 guys at the same time. I thought she was very interesting. If Elvis called snd she was seeing Steve McQueen or her boyfriend, she didn’t jump fo Elvis. If you haven’t read this, it’s a good read.
