Hi, Caramel! I made an improved and a more detailed tutorial of this ribbon flower here: th-cam.com/video/xltnjzpVSXM/w-d-xo.html You get to turn the ribbon when you have secured the base with your fingers before you let the needle pass completely through the folds. So one hand holds the base and the other hand turns the needle. I hope that helps. :)

How can I make this without the needle??? I don’t have big one 😿😿😿
Oh, unfortunately, you really need a needle for this technique. I suggest that you get an upholstery needle. I think it's available at big craft stores. Or you can ask at fabric shops in your area.

Which ribbon is this
Just a regular 1/2 inch satin ribbon with sealed edges. The thinner cheaper ones work better.

Oh. Sometimes, it is difficult to get the needle through... you just need to wiggle the needle some more so it would create a bigger hole for the ribbon to come through. This rose sometimes need a little practice and a little patience. :)

@@prameshwordhrne7485 it would be witchcraft if it were this easy. If you are having trouble (you will) push the needle back out just a little bit then twist it the opposite direction 1/4 to 1/2 turn, then try pulling it through again.

This looks beautiful and all but it would be witchcraft if it were as easy as it looks here. Your gonna get frustrated at first. If it is hard to pull the entire thing through and you are having a hard time at the end push the needle back out just a little bit and twist it the opposite direction about 1/4 to 1/2 turn, then pull it through.

Try using an organza ribbon. It's so much easier to work with. I struggled with the satin ribbon in my tutorial.

@@jewelboxballerina yes, much easier. I also suggest using the smallest needle possible. It is also a bit frustrating threading the needle with the ribbon. If it is hard to pull through, I suggest pushing the needle back out just a tiny bit and twisting it the opposite direction about 1/4 to 1/2 turn.

It didn't work
It could take some practice to make it work. Experiment with different kinds of ribbons in different sizes. I also found out that a sharp pointed, large eyed embroidery needle makes it a lot easier.
