- The long awaited Blu-Ray set is here! All ten discs in two, five-disc cases, they're nice full plastic cases, no eco crap, the flippers are nice and solid. The cardboard box is sturdy and the artwork is great! But even more so, the value is the best part. 10 TV-Movies (8 of which are beautiful 1080p masters) plus a few special features for the movies that couldn't be presented in 1080p! Be sure to support Warner Archive and grab a copy of this or each of the movies individually!

I plan on getting just _The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones_ and _Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf_ as they're the most memorable to me.

Whatever the transfer is, I'll still be grateful that it's on Blu-ray.
I still have my DVD player, its not a blu-ray though. But I might borrow some DVDs from my local libraries. I know DVDs aren't particularly fashionable, but I might get a blu-ray in the near future.
I'd recommend upgrading. I have to assume you have an HDTV. Blu-Ray is not only better for sheer storage capacity but the image and sound is so much better. But I think one of the best bonuses is the scratch resistant coating. It's not scratch proof but you're way less like to have it scratch if kids don't handle it properly or if the disc comes loose in the case, etc etc.
Now, if you're going to make the upgrade, I'd suggest just going for 4k because you may want to upgrade again one day and it's just a waste of money to upgrade twice. 4k players play all, 4k, Blu and DVD. This is already a great option if you have a 4k TV. It's definitely possible you don't but they're pretty affordable these days.

I want a Dexter's Lab box set. I bought the Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends Boxset.
I would love the original first two seasons of Dexter's Laboratory on Blu-Ray! I would say it ties with my want for a Cow and Chicken/I Am Weasel Blu-Ray.

Thank you. I thought it was two scooby movies but you're right, it was the Yogi one! I did pop in the scooby one and unfortunately, it does look pretty rough. It's watchable but it's ain't pretty.

If we could get a review of the movies in terms of how they look on screen, bonus features, etc; that'd be great.
Well, there are only two bonus features which I mentioned in the video. One of them is on Scooby Doo and The Reluctant Werewolf but I can't remember the other one. Like I said, the Warner Archive team always does a great job with their presentations. I don't know when I'll be able to watch all 10 so I couldn't in good faith make a video talking about particular pros and cons of each transfer. Thanks for watching though and hope you're able to pick the set up!

I gotta order this I was gonna pre order it but I didn't have the funds at the time and I gotta imagine reluctant werewolf is gonna look the worst because the dvds are barley watchable
It's well worth the pricetag.
Honestly, I just popped in Reluctant Werewolf and I've got to be honest, it doesn't look hot. But it's the best we're going to get, so I appreciate the effort. It's certainly watchable, just not the same compared to the other 8 proper 1080p transfers.

@@thetoythief8940 Ah, I see. That'd be cool. I think if AI gets a bit better in the next few years we can save things. As long as you have a good reference for what it's supposed to look like, it could essentially recreate things but in higher resolution with proper outlines and good colors. It'd have to be something that is kept in order to keep the artist's vision in tact and really only used when absolutely necessary. I'd rather do that to preserve the art than have it go away. But again it shouldn't look shitty and distort the art. If a random person looked at it and didn't realize it was AI that fixed things, then it should be usable.
