I have a theory. All the shoes that come with a nicer looking box are the pairs Nike probably expected to be hyped and resell. I personally think its cool for having them in the collection stack, makes it easier to spot the shoe without having to squint and recognize every specific shoe off of the colorway name lol.
Naw they did a special box for every pair except Spider-mama which is MIND BLOWING. They did one for crafts, lucky greens, washed heritage, elephant print, everything but the shoe that deserved one the most

Glad that Jordan brand has been releasing many colorway for AJ 1 High in huge quantities. Everyone will be able to get the shoe they want without spending crazy resell prices. Personally I might pass, there's way too many AJ1 high in my collection that I haven't even worn and gotta be selective at all times.

Taxi Highs have got to be one of the most underrated sneakers of all time. I absolutely love them. The UNC Toe just arrived for me today and I do think the quality isn’t quite as good as the Taxi high. Which is both confusing and somewhat disappointing considering the UNC colorway is so much more prestigious on Jordan brand shoes.
