Friendship ended with Jim Milton Rides Again (Definitive), now Triggernometry (Army & Trumpet Edit) is my favourite John song
@@ethanlong4670but it can't compare to this master class of music, i mean this is John's last shootout and it couldn't have been more epic with those trumpets and military motif. Just beautiful.
1:44 best part of the song
John is always a badass. He left on his own for a year, he was always capable of doing things himself. Got shot escaping Blackwater, survived a wolf attack and the worst blizzard. I don't see a man too dependent on anyone. In a way John is the wisest next to uncle for seeing through Dutch a lot earlier than what anyone else had, even Arthur. Hosea had a large part to play in John's realisation of the importance of his family and getting out. In rdr2 he is pretty goofy, but who wasnt as a youngin'. That doesnt take away from the fact he was the only one who outlived the whole gang. Sadie and charles weren't day 1s, I'm only counting the original members before 1899. He is the only one who survived because he was smart from the start. Pretty dumb buying land right near a town you and your buddies massacred only like 8 years ago but okay
Who is this John your talking about? The owner of Beechers Hope is Jim Milton…
About John being a bit goofier in rdr2, i feel that moment that changed him & made him different was killing Micah.
Same way the moment that changed Jack was seeing John dead (or killing edgar ross)
Seeing as the Pinkertons didn't recognise John in camp during the Rhodes chapter, it's safe to assume that to law enforcement and Blackwater civilians, it was just another Van der Linde gun and not the John Marston they see roaming the streets.
I like how it doesn't sound that sad it's just pure badass since the army is literally a joke compared to him alone
Its not as sad as Arthur's theme but its more like a wild aninal backed into a corner, paired with having to defend his family.
Not a Joke, he totally knew he wasn't going to make it out alive even if he didn't sacrifice himself in purpose, but that's what makes John badass, he took a inhumane number of soldiers still, because of his rage before falling.
Some people say he's a force of nature or death himself, i say he's a man.
@@Viceroy. In terms of story, you might be right. Gameplay? John could easily take out armies you can get good
@@goodgenes0 oh it's obviously that in a Gameplay, you're technically op, since you have things as a health bar or drinking stuff that heals bullet wounds.
Lmao no, John might he a badass but the Army quite literally turned him into Swiss cheese
RDR2 is amazing but the vibes of RDR is just unbeatable.
Common trope with most video games and their older predecessors. Not saying it’s you but people usually enjoy what they grow up with more. You’ll have Yakuza, Doom, Resident Evil, etc remakes yet people like the original stuff.
@@TheRealFredbearPlush I guess I am one of the exceptions. I played red dead 1 3 years after I finished red dead 2 and I enjoyed the first game more than the second. You can tell that the games are made by different teams Red Dead 1 has an old school western feel, very atmospheric while 2 tries to mimic that.
@@TheRealFredbearPlush Because the originals may be better? Shocking i know.
@@user-tm9ho3bm4v not always the case tbh I played both red deads and I feel that rdr2 is better in every aspect
And here I thought my favorite track from RDR1 couldn't get any better.
It got shorter so when I have it on loop, I can hear that banger part more frequently!
Also the trumpet keeps me entertained during some of the previously quiet parts
Holy fuck man, that speaks and screams “Red Dead Redemption”
@@strangerman2773 You gave me most of my nightmares when I was younger
@no info You ever heard ‘Outlaws from West’, ‘Red Dead Redemption’, ‘Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern’? These are some of the main themes of RDR2
I think this is a really impressive mix of different songs from RDR1. at times I feel there's too many instruments playing at once for me to enjoy the song. Though I like how you, in a sense, condensed the whole game into one song, by mixing the different songs at times with Triggernometry.
"Too many instruments going at once"
Thats a funny way to describe a gunfight 😅
@@sleebew9773 I describe the song like a chaotic moment? yeah, I think I understand why you would say that. If I remember right, I didn't intentionally want to explain that it's chaotic, I wanted to say that at parts in the song, by my definition there's too many instruments playing at once so that I would enjoy listening to it.
“YOU EAT BABEHS”
- *Illiterate Farmer 1911*
"YOU EAT BABEHS! YOU HAVE TO, TO SURVIVE, Everyone knows that! It ain't your fault doe."
John Marston took one last deep breath, one look through the crack in the barn doors told him all he needed to know. This moment would be his last piece of respite before the bloody end he always knew was coming for him.
As he exhaled, he mustered the will to throw open the doors. He was ready to die like a man, like a warrior.
He stepped out in front of the barn at Beecher's Hope, this was it, he could reach for his gun now, but it would all be for naught and he knew it.
The army troopers, the marshals, even that bastard Edgar Ross stood and cocked their firearms. In that split second, John did what he did best, the only thing he knew to do in moments like these.
His hand reached for the six shooter.
***
All at once the image of tens of armed men turned to a shock of fire and dirt flying in the air. John dived for cover as stray shots whizzed through the air, the wooden walls and doors of the barn were pierced and riddled with lead. A horseman blurred past, wearing a viking helmet and a wooly shotgun coat that was completely impractical for the warm weather of West Elizabeth.
"Marston! What the hell are you doing?" A familiar gruff voice cried as the horseman made his way around the side of the barn. The troopers were completely in disarray, firing at the barns general direction and in the general direction of the lone horseman.
John saw a moment and rushed back inside the barn. 'That can't be who I think that is. I visited his grave.'
The horseman must have dismounted, John heard him vaguely saying "get outta here bwah".
'It IS him. I don't know how but it is.'
As John peeked out from behind the barn doors, he saw arms, legs, guts and confused troopers running this way and that. Another stick of dynamite landed as a cluster of troopers flanking Ross made for Beecher's Hope to get behind cover.
They were too slow. Ross was the only one to jump clear. The cries of newly dismembered soldiers filled the air, and yet the sound of spurs rapidly clinking told John now was the time to pop out of cover.
In a split second twelve shots were fired, there were only three men stood outside Beecher's Hope. A fed, an outlaw rancher and a dead man.
John watched in awe as the man who he thought had died some 12 years ago kicked the ever loving shit out of Edgar Ross.
Arthur Morgan removed his dented viking's helmet, took one look at Uncle's dead body and turned back to John, with a wry smile on his face. But John spoke first:
"aReN't yOu cOLd DReSsEd lIkE tHaT?".
Then Arthur put every last round of ammunition into Johns body, spat on him and left him for Jack and Abigail to find him.
@@thekidisnotmyson Why thank you! That means a lot coming from you, Mr Milton.

American Venom: Fighting for his Brother
The last Enemy that shall be Destroyed: Fighting for his Family
Someone NEEDS to edit this in during the mountain battle during American Venom in RDR2. Epic fight up, great music to begin with, but THIS would’ve been a total tribute to Marston’a final fight from RDR1, a total homage to the original fans and embodying John’s fighting spirit to the fullest 😎👏🏻👏🏻
@@jk-474 mhm, gonna try to get my best run at the mission then overlay the music
This right here is why I love RDR 1’s combat more than 2. There’s only a handful of songs in RDR2 that I find to be good combat music. Most of it is definitely for set pieces, but only a handful of tracks sound are good for outside mission combat. RDR1’s Combat music is suited for both occasions and not only that every song is a fucking banger
I've watched John handle this from heaven.

Imagine Arthur by John's side during this mission.... goosebumps
John and Arthur are a man of their own. John didn't thought of Arthur during Beecher's hope attack, Rdr1 is John's story just stop linking Arthur into his story.
@@weplo1597 looks like someone missed the point of red dead 2. Literally the whole reason John survived was because Arthur helped him get there. Let people think what they want about how John feels about Arthur. There's no reason to be a downer about it.

Best song in the entire series by far
The day john marston decided to quit his "habit of just showin' up".
The soundtrack for this game is just phenomenal! I can't stress that enough smh bravo
I got recommended this and it made me happy to hear this wonderful soundtrack.
John, peeking thru barn doors, ready to die and take it like a man.
He opens the door and see lawman with rifles, also Edgar Ross with them.
He accepts his fate, but suddenly he hears some voice in the background.
Suddenly,he sees Arthur and Lenny with a stagecoah with gatling gun.
Lawman are confused same as John.
Arthur cleans them, also killing Edgar Ross, saving John.
Then,John hears : "i got some jelly beans""
Thats not how I remember it, i’m pretty sure John was about to open the doors when he heard a familiar voice, it was Arthur’s saying, “you better run and not look back”, and John misinterpreted the meaning and did what Arthur said, he ran the other direction while the lawmen and Ross and waiting for him to come through.
Legend has it if you play this at 3 am..... John himself comes back from the grave....

RDR1 combat music are more action packed and badass than RDR2's
RDR1 combat is on another level. RDR2's aiming mechanics aren't as good.
RDR2 free roam combat tracks are lacking in the bass/drum department that’s the problem. Those stems only play under specific circumstances like missions
