The armor profile of the tank is unique (strong lower plate) and its not popular tank, which greatly helps it out statistically. Casual players are not spending time researching tanks online. When the tank becomes common in the match fewer and fewer people will be fooled into the lower plate bait.
@3:29, with the E100's turret, you want to aim closer to the base of the turret. Yes you need about 300mm of pen when its frontal like this but the armour’s angle is more favourable when you aim near the turret ring. [to illustrate a specific frontal angle: its the difference of ~31.5° (top of turret) vs ~26.5° (bottom of turret) and thus you need less pen to go in by the turret ring].
Good observation. But the difference is only significant if you are very close. You might have been mislead by the tanks gg inspector that shows the tank very close, like from a few meters.
@@tamaskosa4456 Regardless of your Distance_from_tankTarget (if you and your opponent are singular points): shooting at an angled plate (the plate is contained within one plane that has uniform thickness), and assuming your gun’s relative altitude is above the bottom of the plate’s lowest relative altitude, Then being able to depress your gun down to a lower point on the target, it will result in a closer to normal shot (the least pen required) compared to having to elevate your gun and increase your shot (by going through more of an angled surface, per your perspective of having to elevate your gun). This only stops being true when you have a steep enough hill and aiming down on your target plate (basically so you have to elevate your gun to be closer to normal). (The majority of shoots from a hill: your tank has to depress its gun to shoot down on a target, however if your entire tank is facing downhill, you might have to elevate your gun to get a shoot off). - Naturally this is fringe case and rare to happen in WoT. So yes Tanks GG doesn’t model this well but it kind of does with the camera’s zoom, to simulate z-axis differences.
I've played about 50 games in it since the buffs, and while I am averaging about 3500-4k DPG in it now, it is most certainly not the new best heavy. the gun is a laser pointer, but the armor still does not feel that good for a super heavy.
It is very comfortable to play now with the buffed gun, and I enjoy it a lot. I'm glad they buffed it this way rather than going the lazy route of giving it more DPM and removing weakpoints. That said, it does have low DPM and quite few weakpoints of which you're always exposing at least one of (turret front still bad, if not as bad as before). In terms of "best heavy" I'd still rate it below the Maus and E100. Although, again, I must point out it's more enjoyable to play currently. And it being such a comfy bundle of joy to play leads to it having overall better players driving it than the typical Maus or E100 driver. This again raises its overall statistics - the pre-nerf AMX M4/54 was the same way, while it was OP for a while it was never as OP as its overall statistics suggested.
I'm currently stuck on the tier VIII VK grind. In anything but all tier VIII or as top tier its _not_ a fun tank to play. It's a Tiger II with a worse gun, worse turret and worse hull.
Man, I grinded the tiger p as a free player then they changed the tree so I’d end up with the panzer 7. I got an e100 next so the actual tank I wanted is still behind months of grinding 💀
The DPM of the Pz 7 isnt that great. He already explained in a video several months ago why he runs HP, Turbo, and Vents on most of his superheavies, including the Maus and Type 5. Him using this same loadout on the Pz 7 shouldnt come as any surprise to you.

It's always "I can't run equipment x because I'd have to take off turbo, hardening or something else" and vents are never mentioned even as an option. Especially since the gun of the PZ7 is decent so I'd focus on DPM than marginal gains on a tank that's fairly ok on the mobility front and fairly ok on the gun handling front.

I agree what you QB point out about what to take on count when you have pushed the city on 'Ghost Town' if the enemy still have those flanks. Thats why the flanks are where on this map games are usually won... not in the city, but especially super heavies has to go to the town to do their job but more like just beeing a stopping power, not an advancing one.
i always believe in this thing i was at 46% winrate before the buff it was frustrating but i didnt give up this tank has potentiel untill they finally buffed now im at 48% winrate im getting better win after win i can feel confident with more than 1000 battles with +6 crew skills i used my Pz7 as a main tank in ranked and i reach gold rank for the first time of my life..i owned those tvp , 60tp gold noobs warriors easily haha
QB on the E-100 you were shooting the wrong side of the turret. Go for the nub on your right, it's left. that counts as a hitbox at the top of the E-100's turret. Even if you don't hit the crossbar if you hit that it will deal damage.
weird you don't use the gun rammer QB, with the gun rammer and BIA you can get 13.50 seconds reload, which is about the same or only slightly worse than other heavies that have 490 alpha, so its DPM is pretty decent IMO.
Ho Ri covering any overpeeks from the left. Renegade hull down supporting from right. Patriot hull down supporting from directly behind. Looks like a 4 vs 1 but it’s really not. Enemies can’t peek / push him there. It’s a choke point on the map to force brawling and QB used it really well tbh.
actually - the statistics suggest otherwise. And with a large enough sample, stats don't lie Winrate and Damage are the ultimate arbiters of how good a tank is and Pz VII beats both 60TP and Super Conq on both metrics Plus, S Conq has been nerfed a fair bit
lol 60tp is absolutely trash, and super conqueror no longer makes sense when the E5 exists. The Vk is not good imo, and neither are the 60tp or super conqueror. A 277 can beat all their asses any time

S.conq is considered op and every pleb plays that, same with 60tp, majority of tomato players are playing those tanks and lowering the stats... Pz was literally tank for enthusiasts and only better players are trying to make it work after the buff... Give it few months after unicums will 3mark it, tomatoes will get hands on it, and it will fall into depths once again.
Statistically the best, overall the definiton of a well balanced tank. Have good armor for a heavy but has it's flaws, reachable weak point on top, has the penetration to get through but lacks DPM as should be, well balanced speed (for heavy) and engine powers.
I’d say that here on the NA server, the 60tp is the best heavy right now. The large caliber gun with 750 alpha (that never seems to low roll) just absolutely smashes through everything. In addition, its lower plate is so troll and will randomly bounce 340 HEAT and 326 APCR. Interestingly enough, the T110E5 on the NA server has a relatively poor win rate, and the Super Conqueror has the 3rd worst win rate. Also as a random question, does anyone know if the Mino’s side turret armor was nerfed? I’m getting penned consistently by standard rounds from T8 meds at 300-400 meters… ☹️
It seems the NA server has different 60tp compared to the EU server. My 60tp almost always lowrolls, the gun is probably the most frustrating in tier 10 and is armour gets destroyed by almost everything that isn't a tier 8.
Then it becomes the Top T10 Heavy, so they nerf it, then something else becomes top heavy, so they nerf it, its a big circle to keep the programmers in a job

This isnt a bad tank but isnt best for sure, if i encounter one in a game it easily goes down. Even with better regular apcrs it dosent stand a chance. Of course tank is as good as a player playing it. So i wouldnt buy some tank just because it gets slight buff. For me the real buff for this tank would be: leave only one weak spot not shoulders but on top of cupola. As a sidescrape tank shoulders must be impenetrable..dpm isnt a big deal as long as armor serves good. WG has a habbit that improves irrelevant features of a tank rather than focus on what tank really needs. If it is a hull down tank, buff armor on cupla etc etc. Heh title almost got me thinking that this tank is worth a shot..maybe with some real buff ill consider it:D It has a potential for sure..
it will be great till enough people grind out the line, then WG will nerf it and make another less popular line better so we all have to start over again. Hopefully using purchased credits and gold converted free XP.

Vents give you consistency because they improve everything. I also prefer vents over gun rammer on tanks with low /mediocre dpm but high alpha. Just let players use the equipment what works best for them. If you think the gun rammer works better for you - so feel free to do so. But stop forcing your opinion on other people, theres multiple ways to play / set up a tank. And using vents instead of gun rammer is definitely a legit one.

Second, I'm just bummed out because such a good player as QB does such poor choices because, if we look at vent, we can see the following: You said vent improve everything. That's not correct. Vents improve camo, view range, ground resistance (usually worthless), DPM, aim time and accuracy. It improves them by 2,5%... Which is literally useless. The only usable vent is the bond or MAYBE the bounty one, with 4,25% and 3,75% which is good in some situations, like autoloaders. The reason is, looking at the pz 7 played by QB in this video, the vents he uses gives him the following: - 0.5s less reload, which is useful, but a rammer is better - 0.05s aim time, which is NOT noticable at all, unless you are a fly - 0.01 accuracy, again, anything below like 0.03-0.04 is not noticable difference, and you can use math to prove it barley decreases the area of a shot landing in the circle - the terrain resistance difference doesn't make it any faster (except on soft terrain, but it'd less than 0.5 km/H) - camo is useless on a heavy - it gives 8 whole. meters. of. view range. That's nothing. QB could use a rammer, optics, or other equipment to make a difference, because NONE of these are noticable. This isn't about preference, this is base math and game knowledge. There are situations where a bond or bounty vents is useful, like lights, ebr, autoloaders, DPM heavy snipers (like strv or Leo) but that's it. There's a reason ehy truly great players like daki, kajzoo, and others rarely use vents, and only bounty and bond one if they do. This is not an opinion, this is a fact.

if only I had the tank and the player skill to get those numbers in my battles. Lately the matchmaking and the battles sux. where as I get killed in within 2 minutes of the battle. My shots go nowhere, they bounce, miss the target or they don't register when I do actually hit the target and kill them. wot is so hacked that it's so terrible to play and have fun.
60tp is trash, its a bad tank in general, only works against tier 9 and tier 8 and even then its questionable. Shit armour profile, shit gold pen, and awful side armour and that massive drivers hatch at the front. I hate it, and its always a pleasure seeing one on the enemy team knowing that i can eat it up in my E5, IS7 and Obj 277
Unnecessary buffs for stuff that really did not needed buffs. HUGE side weak spots on the sides (below the turret) are still there, making side-scrape very hard or close to impossible. Playing on ridge line is also impossible due to 5% gun depression. So this tank is actually very limited & situational. Definitely not the best tier X heavy. Not even close. If something on this tank should have been buffed - those should have been side armour weak spots.
Well stats don't lie - this tank is also not my cup of tea, but as QB has shown this tank gets the best winratio out of all tech tree tanks, so it really cant be that bad, can it?
Im so annoyed with the Polish TD's, i see so many players playing them like regular tank destroyers at the back of the map even at tier 8+ because they dont realise the damage drops off with distance
I don't blame them dude. The tanks have zero armor. They can't brawl worth a crap. I'm at the tier 10 and it's one of the worst tier 10s I've ever played. You sit in the back and snipe, your doing 300 DMG. You come up close and brawl, your getting penned in the face by anything that shoots at ya. They are not good brawlers.

My troubles with this tank remain: The weak spots are too many and too conspicuous and the 128mm doesn't seem like a viable tool at Tier X. It's been around on one form or the other since Tier VII and in my bitter experiences I just can't seem to keep up the necessary performance. Perhaps I'm just a crap player.
Its loaded with RNG so still not enjoyable to play at all. The buff doesnt mean a lot in my opinion. It attracts bots like no other so you'll end up playing 1 vs 29 almost all games. WOT is rotten to the core. 😢

If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more...
If you want to grind pzVII beacuse of this video - just don't. Tank was bad before buff, now it's a liitle more bearable but that's it - it's hard for me to find a worse tier x heavy right now.
It is not the "new best" as it's just because it has idiotproof armour that the average player can't figure out how to pen, it is more about the people who are fighting it rather than the tank itself because I shred these things when I fight them because I know how to pen them but 70% of the player base don't causing a biased skew towards better performance because people just don't know how to kill it

Statistically the best, overall the definiton of a well balanced tank. Have good armor for a heavy but has it's flaws, reachable weak point on top, has the penetration to get through but lacks DPM as should be, well balanced speed (for heavy) and engine powers.

I’d say that here on the NA server, the 60tp is the best heavy right now. The large caliber gun with 750 alpha (that never seems to low roll) just absolutely smashes through everything. In addition, its lower plate is so troll and will randomly bounce 340 HEAT and 326 APCR. Interestingly enough, the T110E5 on the NA server has a relatively poor win rate, and the Super Conqueror has the 3rd worst win rate.
Also as a random question, does anyone know if the Mino’s side turret armor was nerfed? I’m getting penned consistently by standard rounds from T8 meds at 300-400 meters… ☹️
It seems the NA server has different 60tp compared to the EU server. My 60tp almost always lowrolls, the gun is probably the most frustrating in tier 10 and is armour gets destroyed by almost everything that isn't a tier 8.
It would be both mildy amusing and incredibly frustrating if WG programmed different RNG to the same tank on different servers.

This isnt a bad tank but isnt best for sure, if i encounter one in a game it easily goes down. Even with better regular apcrs it dosent stand a chance. Of course tank is as good as a player playing it. So i wouldnt buy some tank just because it gets slight buff. For me the real buff for this tank would be: leave only one weak spot not shoulders but on top of cupola. As a sidescrape tank shoulders must be impenetrable..dpm isnt a big deal as long as armor serves good. WG has a habbit that improves irrelevant features of a tank rather than focus on what tank really needs. If it is a hull down tank, buff armor on cupla etc etc. Heh title almost got me thinking that this tank is worth a shot..maybe with some real buff ill consider it:D It has a potential for sure..

WHY?? Literally why? If you dont need camo, your viewrange is okay (if not, then use optivs or some shit...) so you dont need, your accuracy is good, then why dont you increase your dpm? Thats the only thing you need....
Vents give you consistency because they improve everything. I also prefer vents over gun rammer on tanks with low /mediocre dpm but high alpha.
Just let players use the equipment what works best for them. If you think the gun rammer works better for you - so feel free to do so. But stop forcing your opinion on other people, theres multiple ways to play / set up a tank. And using vents instead of gun rammer is definitely a legit one.

Second, I'm just bummed out because such a good player as QB does such poor choices because, if we look at vent, we can see the following:
You said vent improve everything. That's not correct. Vents improve camo, view range, ground resistance (usually worthless), DPM, aim time and accuracy. It improves them by 2,5%... Which is literally useless. The only usable vent is the bond or MAYBE the bounty one, with 4,25% and 3,75% which is good in some situations, like autoloaders. The reason is, looking at the pz 7 played by QB in this video, the vents he uses gives him the following:
- 0.5s less reload, which is useful, but a rammer is better
- 0.05s aim time, which is NOT noticable at all, unless you are a fly
- 0.01 accuracy, again, anything below like 0.03-0.04 is not noticable difference, and you can use math to prove it barley decreases the area of a shot landing in the circle
- the terrain resistance difference doesn't make it any faster (except on soft terrain, but it'd less than 0.5 km/H)
- camo is useless on a heavy
- it gives 8 whole. meters. of. view range. That's nothing.
QB could use a rammer, optics, or other equipment to make a difference, because NONE of these are noticable. This isn't about preference, this is base math and game knowledge. There are situations where a bond or bounty vents is useful, like lights, ebr, autoloaders, DPM heavy snipers (like strv or Leo) but that's it.
There's a reason ehy truly great players like daki, kajzoo, and others rarely use vents, and only bounty and bond one if they do.

Vents only make sense at tier 2-4 where tanks cant use aiming device or rammer, and on arty. On everything else its a trash equipment. I think you need to be re educated by Chems, one of the best WoT youtubers out there.

if only I had the tank and the player skill to get those numbers in my battles. Lately the matchmaking and the battles sux. where as I get killed in within 2 minutes of the battle. My shots go nowhere, they bounce, miss the target or they don't register when I do actually hit the target and kill them. wot is so hacked that it's so terrible to play and have fun.
I sniped the cupola on a pz7 3x from 300m in my 60tp... I prefer the 60tp since the armor on that in combination with the alpha is epic.
60tp is trash, its a bad tank in general, only works against tier 9 and tier 8 and even then its questionable. Shit armour profile, shit gold pen, and awful side armour and that massive drivers hatch at the front. I hate it, and its always a pleasure seeing one on the enemy team knowing that i can eat it up in my E5, IS7 and Obj 277

Unnecessary buffs for stuff that really did not needed buffs. HUGE side weak spots on the sides (below the turret) are still there, making side-scrape very hard or close to impossible. Playing on ridge line is also impossible due to 5% gun depression. So this tank is actually very limited & situational. Definitely not the best tier X heavy. Not even close. If something on this tank should have been buffed - those should have been side armour weak spots.
Well stats don't lie - this tank is also not my cup of tea, but as QB has shown this tank gets the best winratio out of all tech tree tanks, so it really cant be that bad, can it?
Im so annoyed with the Polish TD's, i see so many players playing them like regular tank destroyers at the back of the map even at tier 8+ because they dont realise the damage drops off with distance
I don't blame them dude. The tanks have zero armor. They can't brawl worth a crap. I'm at the tier 10 and it's one of the worst tier 10s I've ever played. You sit in the back and snipe, your doing 300 DMG. You come up close and brawl, your getting penned in the face by anything that shoots at ya. They are not good brawlers.

My troubles with this tank remain: The weak spots are too many and too conspicuous and the 128mm doesn't seem like a viable tool at Tier X. It's been around on one form or the other since Tier VII and in my bitter experiences I just can't seem to keep up the necessary performance. Perhaps I'm just a crap player.
You need to focus on olaying with your hull, constantly wiggling and overangling to bait them into shooting it

Its loaded with RNG so still not enjoyable to play at all. The buff doesnt mean a lot in my opinion. It attracts bots like no other so you'll end up playing 1 vs 29 almost all games. WOT is rotten to the core. 😢

These bastards have a modified mod for promotions to see they are still in the top ranks, what he shoots is a hit!! if a tank hits him.. then a rebound... I guarantee that you won't have it that way!! and it will be the opposite on mil. % and besides... don't buy premium or premium tanks!!! it's useless anyway, the server determines the damage,,..determines victory and defeat .. If you upload min Damage to the opponent, the server will automatically flip and give Victory/ if High damage to the opponent - it is automatically Defeat.. You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more...

It is not the "new best" as it's just because it has idiotproof armour that the average player can't figure out how to pen, it is more about the people who are fighting it rather than the tank itself because I shred these things when I fight them because I know how to pen them but 70% of the player base don't causing a biased skew towards better performance because people just don't know how to kill it
