This parashah has deeply impacted my heart deeply. It has given my eyes greater sight in haw to live in the Living Torah from the written Torah in that He first gave from His selfless heart, His inner most being. It has increased in haw I need to be in love to our first Love. May the revelation increase from His Word by His Ruach HaKodesh on all those that desire to know the fullness of the Way, the Truth, and the Life Yeshua, Salvation our Messiah.

Thank you for all these rich nuggets of wisdom. Being that we just ended the Feast of unleavened bread and now this teaching specifically the sin offering with the two goats. I am definitely called to action daily to reflect on anyway I was disobedient and make an effort to cast those thoughts in the wilderness to never return.

Would it be possible to explain the importance of honouring & reverence of parents set out in the ten commandments over the vital care & love for their children.
It is many a time that parents have systematically abused their children and worse over a whole lifetime & the children are not in any position to obey this commandment. In today's society it is finally recognised & the mental abuse may be correctly criminalised along with physical & sexual abuse. The Scriptures are so important to me along with a faith that needs to make sense. I am deeply & personally troubled and conflicted that there was never a specific commandment for parents to honour their responsibility toward their children & not to hurt them, use & abuse them, physically, sexually & sometimes the worst of all mentally & emotionally. I realise there is one obscure scripture in proverbs regarding parents not exasperating their children but this is by no means enough when we know the dreadful way parents can abuse their children. Also where does this leave the adult believers who have had to make the difficult decision to go no contact with their parent (s) well into old age & even to their death?
I cannot understand why there is no or little spiritual commandment for the protection of children which naturally must come first in order for the children to follow through on the commandment to honour the parents. I would be very grateful for your advise Rabbi 🙏

    • @AssemblyofCalledOutBelievers
      @AssemblyofCalledOutBelievers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

As there was no issue with child abuse or molestation in ancient Israel Heavenly Father did not need to address that with them at that time but it is obviously heinous and He doesn't desire that any child should go through such abuse. In such cases a child is justified to stay away from the parent but they still need to experience radical forgiveness for whatever abuse they've endured and in that way they can honor them from afar despite their heinous actions. I teach on the 10 commandments in torah parashah Va'et'chanan (the 5th commandment is elaborated on at 58:37)
      www.calledoutbelievers.org/sermons/torah-parashah-vaetchanan/
I hope this helps... Sending Abba's love and blessings and healing upon you dear one! 🙏❤

@@AssemblyofCalledOutBelievers Thank you Rabbi for taking the time for your sincere & comprehensive reply. It is the hardest decision to cut these familial ties to protect oneself, there is no easy way & the Scriptures throw little light. I draw from the sayings of Yeshua when he said he did not come to bring peace but a sword in Matthew 10:34-36 although the application has differences. I found your reply helpful in that honouring from afar could be about removing from the anger & the strife & not piling up grief when we have exhausted all efforts. These examples show how much we need guidance & teachers of the word. I am very grateful for the fine work you do. I look forward to a day when the world will be different & I could attend your tutorials where you will be used by the Lord for instructing the nations. God bless 🙏💖

@@oliveonthebuses1 "Matthew 18:10 BBE - Let it not seem to you that one of these little ones is of no value; for I say to you that in heaven their angels see at all times the face of my Father in heaven." Our way is the trust in His love. The reward is His and the sword is His. It is not good for a child to pick up the sword. And His Son Y'shua said often to not do evil against parents (no revenge, no dishonoring). But if you are called out and they make you trouble in following the way (or the memories make you trouble at this time of life) then "Mark 10:29-30 BBE - Jesus said, Truly I say to you, There is no man who has given up house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or land, because of me and the good news, Who will not get a hundred times as much now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and land--though with great troubles; and, in the world to come, eternal life." i hope this will also help along with the referenced teachings.

      John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.(see Deut 18:15-19) Ask Wisdom.
All the Words Yeshua has Spoken was from the Father. He spoke according to the Father's instructions.
Read the whole bible, do not Cherry Pick(famous verses). Context, context, context. See below. Shalom!
      John4:10
Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I DO NOT SPEAK on my own authority, but the Father who DWELLS IN me does HIS WORKS.
      John 5:19
Therefore Yeshua answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is able to do nothing of Himself, if not anything He may see the Father doing; for whatever He does, these things also the Son does likewise.
      John 5:27
And HE(Father) has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.
      John 5:28
So Yeshua said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I DO NOTHING on my own authority, but SPEAK just as the Father taught me. (All Glory belongs to the Father). Yeshua did it to glorify YAH.
      John 5:30
I am able to do nothing of Myself. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My will, but the will of the One having sent Me.
      John 12:49
For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment-what to say and what to speak.
You see Yeshua cannot do things by himself, it is the Spirit of the Father who works according to His plans. Same way we ourselves cannot do it, but Yah's Spirit will enable us if we obey His Words just like what Yeshua did. Yeshua gave us the example of submission to YAH's will. We walk as Yeshua walked.
