  • Today we ask Spirit about King Charles and Prince William's visit to Normandy France for the 80th anniversary of D-Day (06 Jun 1944).
    What is the energy around this? How are Charles' and Catherine's health doing? Are they having more good days than bad?
    For entertainment purposes only.

    I just recently found out my father in law was a meteorologist in the 1940s stationed in Alaska. He's the one who gave them the date it was good weather wise to go in to Normandy

    I think it's awesome that you guys don't pry any farther on Charles and Kate's health then their well-being. Even if they are Royalty, they have a right to their privacy. And i love the stories you guys tell of your younger years. Growing up in the 70'-80's was definitely a wild ride...all the way around lol

    I've also felt that Charles and Catherine were close right from the get-go. They genuinely love each other. I did see a tarot reading recently that said Catherine's illness was mostly due to Harry leaving the RF, as they had been especially close before, like sister and brother, and it deeply hurt her, especially since Meghan and William did not get along, so she was kind of caught in the middle. I don't take sides, wish all involved well. I know if I were Harry I'd want out of the RF as well, and want to lead a normal life.

    • @sylvie2519
      @sylvie2519 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree that Catherine and Harry were close. Her illness has nothing to do with Harry. She was overworked under alot of pressure and now is her time to heal and emerge even stronger on her terms. I dont take sides either. No one knows unless you walk in their shoes. lots of love to Catherine and admiration to Harry for his sincerity to heal. Everyone has a choice to be true to oneself.

    • @ellenhepburn8659
      @ellenhepburn8659 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sylvie2519 I rather doubt that her illness had nothing to do with Harry. There are likely many factors, the rigid protocol being one of them, but I feel the situation between Harry and William is the main cause of her illness, and Charles'.

    Loved the VW stories LOL! My first car ever was a forest green VW that cost $500. That thing broke down every week. Handles falling off, clutch cable that fell apart every time I went over a bump. When I was a kid there was 6 of us in a station wagon…we had the same metal car seat, a door that flew open too, and we’d fight over who got to lay in the back up under the window. Seat belts? Who needed seat belts? And since we weren’t Italian, my mom used a metal flyswatter instead of a wooden spoon.

    OMG! You guys crack me up!!! But I just have to tell you this funny VW story. My brother in law was a mechanic and he specialized in VW and he had a VW light blue bug. YES it was ALL before seat belt laws! Any hoo, my brother in law, driver's seat, sister up front, baby in her lap, my mom & dad in the back seat and 3 of us, and her daughter, and 3 littler brothers in the hatchback! The looks we GOT! Especially, my dear brother in law was such a cut up. The bakery was across the street from our church, and it was a Saturday, and there was a wedding happening. My brother in law drives by the limo and some of the wedding party ... yelling at the top of his lungs "Youuuuu'llllll beeeee sorrry!" He pulls up to the bakery, and WE all get out! We are laughing, not sis though! You should have seen the LOOKS on their faces!!!! Fun times!

    Some people have made educated guesses on the types of cancer that Charles and Catherine have, based on the surgeries they had immediately prior to each diagnosis. Charles was being treated for an enlarged prostate, and his team did specify that his cancer did not come from that area. Organs in the same vicinity are the kidneys and the bladder, so it's probably coming from one of those. With Catherine, things are more vague. She had abdominal surgery, but it was never even made clear what the purpose for this surgery was. For her, the most common theories I've heard are colon, stomach, bowel, uterine, and ovarian. My grandpa was in the D-Day landings and then pushed south to Caen. He was badly injured in the following battle there.
    We were just talking about our relationship with France. The UK, mostly England, has had more wars with the French than any other country. Twice we've rescued their backsides.....and they have done NOTHING in return.
    Hitler thought he was smarter than Bonaparte and had a war on two fronts.
    I don't care for the monarchy. Charles' uncle schmoozed with Adolph and was a Nazi. He is descended from German royals. They changed their family name to Windsor because it was English.
    What job do you think they're doing, Gary? I would rather have an elected head of state. We don't live in the dark ages, we're educated these days.
    I think you're looking at this through the lens of romanticism.
    As for opening libraries: they tend to get closed these days, yet we still have to fund these pointless people. I would love all of them to go.
