If you are searching in comments that should you watch this 7 hours long video, then I'll suggest yes, you definitely should watch this video. It's completely worth watching this video. Just you need to know about the subject and sir will revise your subject thoroughly and you will enjoy every, every moment of the video. It's a "must watch" video atleast for mechanical and civil guys. My fear of SOM is just vanished. I genuinely respect my professor but the sir is really deserve respect and love. A gift to all the students.

Sir, i think that the stress strain curve can change (despite being the property of material) beacuse we mostly use the stress strain curve which was plotted for tensile loading, but if we plot stress strain curve for shear loading, all the points like yield point, ultimate point will be reached at half of the tensile values (shear tensile relation). Will this variations in stress values change the stress strain curve????? . That's the doubt.

@@dr.vijayendersingh8917 Sir if it is possible kindly upload a marathon series of structural analysis. I have watched fluid mechanics and SOM videos and they are extremely helpful. Cannot thank you enough for it.

on 1:41:04 the complimentary shear stress always act along the cross section and along the direction on which the shear force is applied.

Centre of gravity - it depends on gravitational field . If gravitational field varies over a body centre of gravity and centre of mass will be different. But for on Earth gravitaional field over the surface can assumed to be same throughout . Thats why centre of mass and centroid remains same mathematically on earth and for our engineering purpose too.

Sir I believe education should be free
We as students from a very normal family cannot afford 3800 rs course
I would really appreciate it if you make such amazing content available for all
