I think if ND receivers excel this year ND may get a wide receiver or 2 to flip

While I understand that recruiting elite receiver targets will be an uphill battle without a big-name WR coach with a proven track record of sending guys to the league.. but my goodness, if Brown is a good developer-go grab some lower ranked athletes who want to be here and put the work, show the love and the consistent effort into THOSE GUYS!?!
Watching all of these kids say no to Brown the past month has me wanting to slap Tommy around for the really selfish choice of Chancy Stuckey over JaMarcus Shepherd back in 22'/23'. I still can't believe the selfishness and narrow-mindedness of the spoiled brat Rees for such a universally horrible/stupid decision. A decision that set receiver recruiting back 3 or 4 years as well as blowing up the room last season by the actions of said horrible coaching choice(Stuck). Makes me ill.. 🤢🙈🙈

Couldn’t agree more. Also to your point about Rees, people should understand that this team couldn’t develop an offensive identity without the (two head coaches) moving in the same direction. Freeman was handcuffed from jump…..not blameless….. but ABSOLUTELY handcuffed. NOW, moving forward….this staff needs to do things differently. How do you not take a Copper Perry? Player with talent that WANTS to come to ND. That’s where you start. #1) Evaluate players that want to come to ND. Yes, check all the boxes..”Can this kid play?” If it’s a yes and you have all the recruiting services saying the kid is top 150+ GRAB HIM!!
#2) THEN go after “Who you want but can more than likely get. If they do that alone. They can easily take care of “numbers” at the position.
#3) NOW you can “Swing for the fences”! If you get a “5 star”, since that’s the only thing most ND fans seem to care about…..great!! If not, you still have a good chance of landing a 4 star with high upside. While still meeting the needs at hitting numbers at the position. Easier said than done I’m sure and who’s to say they aren’t already doing this. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Bryan I'm excited for football too. It feels like it's here though first game is still a month a d a few day.
