Vietnam's VIP OVERNIGHT BUS Hotel 🇻🇳

  • Vietnam is an amazingly busy and bustling country, and what better way to travel through it than in a VIP Luxury Bus that looks like it’s from the future! We set off on our trip further up north from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to Da Lat, up in the mountains in Vietnam. Our hotel for the night wasn’t a regular stationary hotel. Rather, it was a very exciting VIP experience bus ‘pod hotel’. With chargers, lights, a TV screen, and a comfortable place to sleep, what more could you ask for? The journey, however, ended in a bit of a hectic way!

Bia Hơi is all over Hanoi, really easy to find. But in HCM city, Bia hơi is expensive (10 times its price in Hanoi) and only available near the airport (some Hanoian restaurants there has bia hơi for the Hanoian Community there). I lived right there so I knew about it, most locals in HCMC don't know about it.

If you're still in Vietnam book "Phương Trang" buses, they are the biggest bus service in southern Vietnam, so they have their own stations wherever they go, or they have their little rented corners somewhere in major city stations. Their stations are clean and comfortable, so it's better to sit there and waited or get connected to other places. I think Thành Bưởi also has station in Dalat, you can go to their station and wait .

I've taken a "sleeper bus" in Vietnam too. Not nice like that, just some short divides between seats. Still, slept really well. One would think that the bus company would have some connections with hotels at the destination town to make sure there would be some one up at that awe full arrival hour. You -all would do well to ship some of your accumulated stuff back to your home country (-ies).

Bus cannot do that, because people get drop off at so many places..
Not all people on the bus get drop off at hotel, some get drop off at their homes, or near their homes, some at businesses…
When you get on the bus, they will ask for the street or places you want to drop off at…and they will basically drop the passenger who is the closest…so if you want to go to destination A, person behind you B, and front of u destination C…A get off first, then B..
Buses also doesn’t have an exact time that they will arrrive at a specific location…
So, it’s not convenient for them to have conmections with hotel, because they don’t know who want to get drop off where until the passsenger get on the bus.
