9:24 That cutscene got triggered because Weber got past so at some point, so regardless of you finishing in front in track the game thinks you let Weber through which triggered the cutscene.

It would have been more pleasant if they included a full F2 season then allow that to determine your F1 placement like if you did badly the options will be limited to Williams and Sahara etc such a shame....

how hard is it to turn in game with a controller
@@joshmcfie673 it's more difficult to drive exactly the same line consistently unless you have amazing precision with a joystick. And it's a bit more difficult not to scrub front tyres for the same reason as you tend to go full lock more often with a joystick but other than that it's not hard. Not like some previous f1 games where the controller was horrible to drive with.
@@Veyron_fan I wonder if he uses a steering wheel or controller? He has absolutely killer control for the most part and almost always hits the apex and hits his exit points..

@@joshmcfie673 I never had a problem turning with a controller, you have to be smooth on the joystick and turning is good, don't tap the joystick a bunch of times to turn it you actually use a good touch and find that sweet spot in every turn it's not bad, same with the trigger for gas just have touch on it in turns and coming out and you'll be fine. Of course a wheel will always be better but there are tricks to optimize using a controller.

@Water xddd it has to be small, otherwise the sponsors would complain of it overshadowing them. William's does the same thing with a Senna tribute placed on their car every year.

I think what happened in the 1st scenario is, your teammate overtook you for a second so the game registered it as you letting him by, although you regained the position later - hence that “storyline” was triggered.

It is because Weber was past him for a moment on the start-finish-straight so that the game mechanics somewhat think that he let Weber past. I would have liked to see the cutscene, too, though

People don't understand how clever and beautiful that car is. Did you notice it's 2 colors? they designed so that fromt a distance, you could see it's 2 main sponsors, Renault is the yellow, black for infiniti. They know that when they're showing cars coming down the straight face on, you have to have a care that stands out. So whne they're coming down the long straights, you see an AWESOME BRIGHT YRLLOW car, with small Black trim. BUT, when you look at it from the side, you see a BEAUTOFULBLACK CAR, with .. Yellow Trim! love it. basically 2 different cars!

Hadn't played F1 2018 since I moved about 1,5 years ago, took out my wheel again yesterday and was about to get back into it when F1 2019 was on 75% sale so I got it. Set everything up and I felt comfortable from the get go. I squeezed the hell out of the car and my driving and dominated (to the extent you can). It actually feels better than on F1 2018. It was like I never stopped playing :)
He's a better driver than me so surprising to see him struggling in F2 which certainly are easier to drive than F1 cars. I have the difficulty set to 89. I won with Prema and decided to go with Alfa Romeo and depending on how things have gone I'm gonna pick Haas or Ferrari. Sure I could've picked Ferrari and probably won the series but what's fun in picking. Top team and stick to it season after season or jump from one top team to another. I like a little bit of grind and act like I need to prove and earn my fortune ;)

they are kinda random, because the midfield is so close. alfa is actually p9 right now in the constructors and renaul p5.

Codemasters should make a game called "Road to F1" where it begins with your birth, then karting at a young age, then more FIA sanctioned championships until you reach Formula 1. They can even include how super license points are earned in real life.
