What's so inspiring and sweet to me is that Plushenko is a figure skating legend, but wanted so very much to perform for these people that just adore him so much. He didn't have to do this. This is a tiny rink compared to the ones he was used to, but he didn't care. He loved hearing their praise and affection. They wouldn't have cared if he messed up every jump, skated like an amateur, or fell every five seconds, because they love him for him, and his impact he had on their young Yuzuru. Both skaters are so incredibly important and loved in Japan, and I think that's beautiful.

Plushenko was the first skater I ever saw and the one I admired, finally when yuzuru got in the game I could help but love him as well so seeing this is still very very touching
At the end when they were both skating out and started jumping, Plushenko has very strong personal aura that shadows whoever skates with him. His movement is so powerful and commanding. You just can't move your eyes away from him and you just feel wind blowing through you face even you watch it through the screen. This is why he is so attractive and outstanding on the ice ring. Since Yuzuru Hanyu has reached the top of skating, now is the time for Yuri to free up and change his set-in hair style to little more liberating wake-up look and add in some humourous moments in his choreography to bring up the artistic side to the top. Personally, if Yuri modifies Alexei yagudin's signature moonwalk and Plushenko's signature crazy move then to show off his original and genuine unforgetable move, it would be awesome.. and say it to the world Asia is not of just geometric quietness of Zen or minimal, of order, etc etc
