In my opinion Both Silver and Sonic should share the same popularity in games! In that way it would make sense because Sega chose Sonic as a mascot representation! If Sega didn't make sonic at all then Alex Kidd could've been more popular than sonic! Thanks to Sega they created Sonic and Silver and all the Sonic Characters in a handsome and beautiful designs and use of colours too. If feels so sorry for Sega not making more games for Alex Kidd but he joined in 3-4 Sonic crossovers as Sega all stars collection and a playable character.
Although i never played '06 and only saw videos, I'm glad to see how they improved on Silver here even utilizing it in a high speed race/fight similar to the Shadow battle. We even get to see what Silver could really do with his abilities.
