Mrs. H brightens my Wednesday! Nice midweek shave. When discussing a razor's performance, I often wonder how you would compare it to safety razors most shavers use. Like the 34C, the R41, or the Fatboy on setting X? One "adjustable" for cost-minded new shavers is the Rockwell 6C. It is like getting 6 razors for the price of one. And it's one of the smoothest shaving safety razors I've used. Anyway,, I always appreciate your opinions and honesty. Have a great rest of the week.

When I couldn't get the Persona Reds at a reasonable price any longer, I was told about these Blaids, as long as the ink was red in the name it was the same blade. Like yourself, I couldn't find any differences between the two. Is it the same Blade I can't say, but they work and feel the same for me.

Started out perfectly Paul💈💈 Personna "Red" blade in the UK packaging, can't beat them. I stocked up on Israeli Personna Red blades years ago, glad I did too as the German ones can't compare. Stunning arrangement from Mrs H, thanks to her. Nice video and results today, enjoy the rest of the week. See ya soon.
Thats a really nice shave cream Paul. I always look to see how thick they are and how they lay on your face and that cream is impressive. A great shave and flower arangement as always. One day I will send you some stuff too...do you guys have any Cremo products, in the UK? ..phenomenal scents but they don't make shave soaps...new products here and there..I want to try this cream and razor! Great shave Paul!

Today's SOTD was more like a budget shave
King C gillette razor and blade
Wilkinson sword brush
Palmolive classic cream
Boots Freshwood aftershave and matching balm
Plus my ceramic bowl which I rescued from the kitchen cupboard and is just ideal for lathering
All products not that expensive to buy if ure just starting out the journey of wet shaving
Happy Mid-week shave Paul! My current SOTD line up is an unbranded DE89/R89 razor clone (bought it from a guy online) Gillette Pure Shaving Cream, finished off with an Alum Block, Thayers Cucumber toner, and a Gillette Aftershave Gel. I only have one Shaving brush and coincidentally, it's also from Bluebeard's Revenge: "Vanguard". It's a Synthetic brush but the packaging doesn't state the Knot size, but I'm guessing 20~23mm. Not as big as the top brands, but it gets the job done, and that is good for me. Regards to Mrs. H as well and enjoy the rest of the week!
Paul, good morning Sir . First I must say wonderful job on the flowers Mrs H. ! Always brightens everyone’s day. Paul, I agree about the blades . Not every blade seems to work the same in every razor. Some are a better fit . One razor I would suggest however is the Rockwell 6s , well two razors really . The Rockwell 6C as well if you are budget minded . IMO . Have a great day and stay safe
Hi Paul Afternoon to you that was really good shave made to look so so simple haven’t used any of those products in a shave so may be worthwhile doing so in the future at budget prices.I had a shave last Nite PAA Cavendish soap Rockwell 6s Razor Rockwell blade 2nd use then on the post I used witch Hazel and Cavendish Splash.the brush was the Yaqi Bali 24mm synthetic brilliant shave so it was.have a great day and rest of the week and take care of yourself 🙂👍🏻

Very nice shave. Nice looking razor as well. My own sotd was my Rockwell 6c with a derby blade. Chisled face's summer storm soap and matching after shave. Always a nice post shave feel with their products. And my motd tonight will be a lamb curry with butter naan from the local indian take out. Have a great week

For me, a four days growth shave would look something like this: a Rockwell 6S plate 5/6, Merkur Progress, or Muhle R41 paired with a brand new Personna Med Prep, Feather, or Gillette Silver Blue.

The question from the other video about what razor for 3 or 4 days growth: The razor could be but does not need to be aggressive. I have often gone so many days for that amount of growth, and mild or moderate aggression razors handle this much growth of hair just fine; like Fat-Handle Gillette Tech made in USA, or any razor like it.

These were my goto blades whilst they were made in Israel, unfortunately they are now made in Germany and unexpectedly they are not the same blade and not a patch on the Israeli made ones.
