I don’t believe you can truly repent without first having Christ. John and Paul say Believe and though shalt be saved. A Christian can repent and in Hebrews he is talking to Christian’s. The Jews were told to repent because the were to change their mind and accept Jesus as the son of God.
In these two verses of Revelation 22 below, three (but not trinity) are involved and they are: 1) FATHER (One True GOD) - HE is sitting in the Throne of Heaven and HE is the Source of all the Words that John recorded in the Book of Revelation. 2) The Word (Jesus who received the Name “The WORD) - he or they are the literal Words that John saw spiritually, which means he heared. The WORD that has life in itself, speaks regarding the angel who is his bearer (Revelation 22:16). 3) Angel or the son of man - he is the physical person whom John saw in his vision. It is from his mouth that John hear the Words (Jesus) from the FATHER. John cannot communicate directly to the FATHER because he was still in his fleshly body where sin is dwelling (in the belly specifically which became bitter when John ate the small Book). Worship GOD alone! HE alone deserves all the glory, all the honor and all the praises, forever and ever! Amen and Amen! Maranatha! Revelation 22:16, 20 NKJV 16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”
