Kolahalas ji. BJP must realise that it can and should contribute by sitting in the opposition bench itself. Too much compromise to sustain the status quo will lead to loss of identity. Modiji needs to listen to the voice of time. Continued neglect to bring in much needed midcourse structural corrections both within party, and in regrouping economic policy in a way that restores the faith back with BJP, are causing untold damage. Search for alternative to post Modi leadership is long overdue. But all these are falling into deaf ears. Time will teach a hard lesson.

Mr. Srinivas, I am surprised that you too failed to gauge Indian Politics well. Nothing wrong in inducting opposition leaders into the ruling party. It won't weaken BJP as you imagine. DMK became strong only after inducting erstwhile AIAADMK leaders like Velu, Jagath, Senthil Balaji, Muthuswami, kkssr , Anitha Radha- to name a few. All those leaders of DMK who existed before the induction of these defectors did not object and DMK grew in strength. So, it is part of the game. Accept it as is. I disagree with the lead topic i e B J P accommodating all and sundries from other parties left and right and in the process diluting its identity, displeasing loyal cadre etc etc . Let Dinamalar anchor indulge in these far fetched but essentially mischievous journalistic pursuits but Sri. Kolahala is not to play into this.
Why he is forgetting that it is always BJP versus the Rest when it comes to post poll matters. If it is LS ,BJP has to have 272 but for others only arithmetic requirement is BJP should not have 272 on its own. This is the most crucial aspect of BJP top brass going for revival of NDA, finding whatever small groups, numbers to take along etc etc so that the other side does not cobble up numbers as they did in 1991, 1996, 2004 and 2009. This plan may not have succeeded in all places but when it did succeed in 2019 same Kolahalas went ga ga in hailing additions like Apna Dal, Nishads , Jitin Prasada and Rita Bahuguna for weaning away brahmins from Congress in U P, LJP , Manji in Bihar, Abhay Chautala and one more Jat outfit in Haryana and so on.
Remember in Karnataka BJP never won absolute majority in assembly polls- its highest tally was 110 in 2008 when it had to do 'Operation Kamal' not to come to power but to stop other side from walking away with the rest 114 seats!!!!. In M P , it is the rebellion of Jothiraditya that put Shivraj Singh back on the throne after 18 months of wilderness in the post 2018 assembly elections
