Really solid lead! Great gear placement and confident movement. Everything feels a plus grade harder when the wind's blowing hard!

    Good lead. Solid decision making.

Except for the undercammed .4 and .75 that he placed early on. I wouldn't have even put body weight on those pieces. I would bet my rack on both those pieces ripping in case of a fall.

@@petlemons yeah, the crack really flared in the back there which made placements tricky. I knew the .4 wasn't great which is why I backed it up. I pushed the .75 into the constriction in the back, but rewatching the video it's a bit undercammed too. Tbh I think the .75 would have still held a fall, but it's definitely not a perfect placement. I'm definitely still learning and growing as a trad climber.

@@jeffersonashby We've all been there. It's all good, just remember that climbing past bad gear is just as useful as no gear.
My comment was more directed at the commenter above not at you. I don't think it's a good idea to say it was solid decision making. If an even newer Trad climber comes around and sees that comment, they might think undercammed placements are fine.
Hope you're getting out as much as you can. This fall weather has been making up for the wet beginning of the season we had

That spot where you placed the green alien, do you thing a blue totem or a blue alien could also fit there? Even perhaps a BD .3 z4? Just curious as I would really like to flash this one. AKA the thoughtnof falling without great gear gives me the heebee jeebees haha

I bet you could place a good blue totem in there, but i'm not sure if something larger than that would fit there. The gear right below that is really good though

POV rock climbing videos should only be allowed if they're edited to be less than three minutes long ending in falls of more than twenty feet . . .
