Born in Brum, 1941, my family moved south in '55. I especially loved the beguinning and the trip up the A38. Childhood memories, of Tram rides to and from the Lickey Hills, down that unique and lovely dual central carriageway, A race up the stairs to the top of Tram, with my sibblings, to get to the front seat. Down the hill between the Trees (still there) almost touching the tram roof, out into the countryside, or so it seemed. Nicely filmed on the close of a sunny summer day. I did speed the vid up though ,as there were ( naturally) many halts, '' but stopped the Bus'' to read the sign posts.

A lot's changed but it still brings back some memories.

Looks awesome. Can't wait to get back there. 28 years in Florida, 44° today. Nice to see pretty much only buses and taxis in the city center and not one single insane car driver. 😊

While the rest of the world fried, Britain chilled. In mid ''Summer'' I had to put the heating on in the evening.
