It was touching to see the policeman weeping on camera while coping with the tragic loss of a fellow officer. All men have the capacity for deep feelings. However many men in our culture are no longer in touch with such emotions, instead playing out the common stiff-upper-lip approach to dealing with tenderness, despair, pain and sadness. Such feelings can be suppressed to the point that they are forever dissociated. Some women follow a similar path, as well, although not as often or to the same extent.

The whole political class is absolutely quiet, they say nothing, do nothing, hear nothing. Yet outside of American society, you cannot shut the politicians and Washington up, they are loud, aggressive, pushy, bossy, traveling from country to country, shoring up friends with arms, and have a lot to say about matters the American people have nothing to do with it or even care about.
