    Excellent talk. Just for the record I am a woman who works with 100% male coworkers (industry). Not once have I ever had a problem with any of them. They all work their asses off, they are respectful, fun, highly effective at their jobs, and strive to do their best. Society needs to do better at recognizing thier rights.

      I'm interested in what field or profession you work in, as well as the region (U.S. U.K. Canada)

    Well done. I'm so glad that the audience 'shushed' the disruptors to allowed this woman to speak. I never thought that we'd have to fight for the freedom of thought and discourse in the USA So sad.

    I like her style. It's direct. Cut-throat and to the point. Great lecture. If anybody stuck thinking in the feminist paradigm listens with an open mind, I'm sure he'll/she'll at least have to adjust his/her perspective to some extent.

    I am glad that this lecture is being made available so widely on the internet, and so many other venues.
    Truth and logic can not be censored. And can survive and thrive, in the light of day.
    Do you notice the feminist lectures NEVER are allowed to be recorded or aired,...by order of the feminists themselves.
    What are they afraid of ?

    I'm quite shocked that this lecture wasn't silenced as well. Maybe the feminists realized that it was reflecting bad on them to be so openly totalitarian.

    It's unbelievable that the concepts of free speech need to be explained to university students as if they were five-year-olds.

    Janice Fiamengo is so calm. Why are they trying to disrupt her speech?

    She mentions a Q&A after. Not on video? Would like to see it.

    How short sighted it is to perform the indignity of thinking all men are the same. and worse, to feel it is some how progressive to vent anger at those who would try and educate others to the truth, that they are not all the same.
    A Man is not "Men", Many a man agree that rape is abhorrent, many men have also been victims of sexual and domestic violence.

    I think it would be an interesting experiment to hand over a province or a small country to women. They would have to do everything themselves and get along with each other. I would honestly be curious to see how well they would do.

      +Dennis Stewart That could be true. Or wait... usually it's the men who have to do the killing, so maybe they would just hiss at each other. Lol.

    How the hell does somebody, like Janice, develop such self-awareness? To go from being a full blown feminist to not..

      How do people unplug from any hate movement?
      It requires cumbersome (and sometimes painful) introspection. But with time the compass shifts.
      People change. Ideologies rarely do.
      And I think this is a testament to human spirit. How we are fallable, but always able to keep learning.
      The big pitfall though, is to get stuck with the idea that we can ever be 'done learning'. Thinking that we know it all.
      That is where the danger comes to project everything negative onto some external enemy. Rather than realize that we can often find that same negativity in the mirror.

      It occurred to me the dominant discourse didn't remotely reflect my experience so I started researching Bureau of Statistics etc.
      Then someone said "Antifa are the fascists, look at the videos on TH-cam, then I started seeing sensible people debating emotional people.
      That was the start.

      @@theflamingone8729 Thank God for that! But how did it "occur" to you? Do you remember what made you look at your self? I know quite a few people who, despite evidence to the contrary, refused to even consider that the standard narrative might be faulty..

      @@donaldkeith139 as I wrote, I didnt recognise my experience in the first, second or third parties and wondered if I was the anomoly or if the narrative was false.

    29:58 did the audience think the video was a comedy clip; how is any of it funny?

    • @uomociambella
      @uomociambella ปีที่แล้ว

      insults and violence against men is considered funny in this culture, especially if it's from women to men. pay attention to the different reaction people have when men and women experience violence, and pay attention at comedy: in traditional comedy, the spectator is supposed to find funny when a man experience pain, never the reverse

    • @omggg94
      @omggg94 10 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It's a technique at Queens where 'feminists' would full fire alarms to disrupt this particular speaker because she is speaking about the double standards of feminism. Which to this group of 'feminists' is unacceptable. Anyways, it's an excuse to cut the lecture short because that particular person refuses to listen to a differing point of view. there's another video on this speaker getting interrupted with chanting, blow-horns and fire alarms.
