@@zakariahlafreniere8347 Not really. You complain about a beautiful synth, yet are oddly okay with the muddied, muffled flood of white noise, screeching, trashcan bashing, banging and screaming... Unlike you, I love ALL of it. !!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Amazing song, I remember that it was the first time I listened Yngwie and It was really impressing. As Ron Tal said he was a pioneer on neoclassical metal and that is it. Jens intro is truly amazing. He interplays with Yngwie were revolutionary. If someone can do that much better than them is another story, and if Yngwie does not play so clean as others, or if his ego is disgusting for many of you is arguable. But, for me, is clear that neoclassical shred rock was another since that concert. At least my life changed since that concert. Thanks for sharing!!!
Saludos rokeros
@zslivonj well jens was first metal keyboard player he is number one? well hes really good i know only the malmsteen and stratovarius songs of him but Derek Sherinian, kevin moore, jordan rudess for me are quite the same good in other aspects so all of them are number one for me
really not a huge yngwie fan (he's a good guitarist and all that, but I think all of his solos sound exactly the same, and are just a barrage of harmonic minor and phrygian shredding), but he always has good musicians with him! The Johansson Brothers and Jeff Scott Soto really made this performance for me.
Im not an yngwie fan either But i think you are wrong If his solos sound the same to you something is wrong with your ears, Try to learn some of his solos before making a statement like that man,! Youll change your mind if you can play some of his solos correctly.
A racist watches this and says, "IM NOT A RACIST ANYMORE!!!!!!!". Thats how things go guys people are converted to nin racist when they hear this!👍😀! ...lucky for me Ive never been a racist!
Wow, one year. Anyway, he refused, that's why they took Derek. Dream Theater was searching only for a temporary replacement and Jens clearly says, in a lot of interviews, that he was searching for a stable place in a band, not only a two years permanence. In fact, as stated by Portnoy, Jens was his primary choice for Liquid Tension Experiment as well, and not Rudess. He prefer Johansson due to his amazing fusion works, but it wasn't possible, at the time, because of Stratovarius. On Drum Nations vol 2 you can hear a collaboration between both Jens and Portnoy.
Jens intro sounds like he's summoning Bach's soul.
I want to time travel back to the 80s and stay there.
Marcel Jacob was one of the greatest bass player ever.
Rest In Peace

This is YJM & Rising force at their best!! This is live!! Amazing to get that sound live!! RESPECT!🤘🤘
Jeff Scott Soto is king. Handling all the vocals, without backing at all
Listen to him go from fusion, to harmonic minor, to melodic minor, to natural minor. He uses each mode to wonderful effect.
My fully RESPECT to Mr. Jens Johansson. Back from 1985 ! 😎🤘
Jeff is stunning. He sings it almost better than the studio version. His performance is impeccable
Jens’s intro is truly amazing and played with a extreme speed and a big feeling at the same time!!!
What a lineup..holy shit
Jensus Christ!!! I love it!!! I still have this album on cassette.
Jens is just AMAZING! I MISS THIS GUY!!!
King johansson he is the best!
Amazing how spot on they are live most bands don’t sound like that live
Thank you!
Jeff Scott Soto. Period
F**king A i still have Marching Out on vinyl and the means to play it .

Intricate! Sublime! Majestic! Exquisite!
Then again, it's Jens we're talking about: I wouldn't expect anything less than that! ;-))

Amazing keyboardist.
Love this Jens tone, kind of a mix between a lead sound and an harpsichord sound
Exactly THIS!! And maybe a spinet, too, esp. in this case! :D
Jeff was very young. He's full power
Jens is my favorite bar none. Precious little footage of his live solos on TH-cam. Saw him with Dio too. That tour his solo spot was amazing.
Only two people could ever sing this song live convincingly like the album. Jeff and Mark. Yngwie was so spoiled by the best ever.
amazing stuff
So many people wish they could be this good live....

maestro EL MEJOR DEL MUNDO¡¡¡¡
This was shortly into that time when they started resetting that bar !
I agree 100%
Mi tecladista favorito es Jens Johansson, pero no quiere decir que sea el mejor. Cada tecladista tiene su estilo propio de tocar. Eso es lo que atrae.
A mí me gusta John Lord :)
Saludos rokeros
Malmsteen=extraterrestrial life form
Well, sure--one simply walks onto the stage and plays it--but very few could play it like Jens!!\m/
Best ! FantastiKoo !
thkz marcel...
Jen is Yngwie's equal in neo classical shredd.
Jeff Scott Soto does cameos. Please look him up. ❤️

Ehmmm ... what the hell?🤔
JSS is a bad mofo
He doessent even know to play his own solo live lol
Intro by Nintendo.
If this guy is so good why did he lose the DT gig to Derek Sherinian?
Because DT prefer north americans.
Wow, one year.
