hilarious beginning :) Stunning cars, took my first drive in a mk4 this year and now I get why they've become such a big thing. I couldn't resist and bought it - Mine's a 5sp n/a, so no turbo's and a lot less power! A different feel but love the drive and balance @DrivenFloored

I could have bought a Mk4 in 2013 but I ended up buying a new 2013 IS-F which I still have. I am still dreaming of the Mk4 but the prices are high and so is the demand. I got a ride in a 98 build Mk4 with 62mm Precision on E85, he was making 750 bhp and was more than enough to open my eyes. Watching these vids is always fun.
I'm sure that is one hell of a ride though.

I would suggest to stop dropping it in neutral after a pull, you're starving the engine of oil and thus cooling causing unnecessary wear on the 2J, awesome car man thanks for the vid!!

What brand and turbo size are you running? What a/r are you running on the backside? .96? it must be big! Is it not ball bearing? What rear end do you have? What size intercooler pipes do you have and how are they routed? Did you cut the hole needed to run the shortest route to the throttle body. Trying to figure out why it is a little laggy.

Bro the happiness and thrill you felt on these runs is how i felt in a 1000hp hellcat. Its INSANE what that power feels like. I could never push the pedal past 70%... didnt matter which gear or speed that fucker would break loose eeeasy. But my GOD the sound and the feel of the pull just takes you over. Incredible. Btw your cam sounds nasty bro... never heard that kind of lug out of a supra

Bro I get giggles cruising around in my V10 M5 and on its best day I’ve seen 473 to the wheels. I can’t even imagine that kind of power delivery. Curious - do you think the drivability of the car would be drastically different (more manageable?) with a twin turbo set up?
Its a big single turbo setup. Its honestly very good drivability considering the power its making.

Is ethanol one R really that good? Because I have a 2020 VMP ODIN supercharged mustang gt. I don’t have E85 in my city here in Louisiana. I have a daily so wouldn’t have to drive it every day. Love your Supra man legendary car🤘🏾

Hey man, love your content as always. I believe You mentioned in a video in the past with a build breakdown list that is an ATF TH400 trans and I know you're using the manual shift knob but is that a reverse valve body? But how do you get it to function like a sequential where you just pull it back and it goes back to the middle position? What setup is that?
I didn't realize the Turbo 400 made a comeback. Goes to show I've got ALOT to learn and catch-up on haha
@@MK6_GLI I'm still learning too man and yeah it's amazing transmission no electronics controlling it, its all hydraulic operated. I think the other name for that transmission was called Hydromatic.... I would definitely use that transmission in a rear wheel drive build. Coming to find out though the the Australians are using that transmission in the Skylines. They ditch the six speed when they reach a certain power threshold that can also cause problems for the sequential transmissions as well and they switch to the TH400 just put a transfer case right behind the transmission and run the drive shaft up to the front diff, I seen the kits for those pretty amazing.

@@Icutmetal so from the research I've done and I could be wrong on this. There's two versions of this transmission. There's a turbo 400 and then you had this TH400. I believe the TH400 from what I read it can handle higher RPMs and it's rated for big power I believe it's just built tougher and you find it and have your vehicles like trucks, big cars. I used to have one in an '82 GMC 6.2 diesel pickup. I was in high school i didn't know what I had lol
