Cool, thanks so much for showing this. Having the city water to purge the line is great as I always wondered how the chemicals were kept from being mixed inline. I never see the water input on the smaller portable CIP skid systems, but I have not had the pleasure of using one.

We have an electrically heated, 20-gallon, 2-vessel CIP cart for our brewery in planning. Our cart differs from yours in that it can be moved to the source for cleaning, and also that it does not have a city water inlet. We will probably store caustic in the heated tank, and PAA in the non-heated tank. Since the heated tank has a PID, my plan was to pre-heat it on cleaning days ahead of time, then use our 140 degree external hot water source (or perhaps HLT water) to blast pre-rinse and pre-heat the FV, then simply roll the cart to the FV, hook up a loop, and run for the recommended time. I have a few questions:
    - Since I only have 1 pump in the loop, do you think that gravity will be enough to return the bottom return water to the CIP pump without cavitating it? I assume I could just throttle the pump outflow?
    - How often do you change the chemicals in your CIP? I would assume it depends on what you're cleaning, and how well you pre-rinse, but is there some SOP you have for observation, or do you go by titration only?
    - Do you ever hook up 2 things to be cleaned in parallel (i.e.: CIP outlet split with a T and 2 valves) for time savings, or do you think that the pressure drop would negatively impact the effectiveness?
    - For my system, how necessary do you think a flowmeter on the pump outlet line would be?
    - What was the water running onto the floor behind the acid tank in the video?
    Thanks, great video as always!

Another great vid on cleaning! Question: how long could you keep the acid respectively caustic in both tanks? Are these volatile chemicals?
And what are you using to check the chemical concentration so magically?

Great video since most breweries do not have the luxury of having a CIP Skid it is very educational. All breweries should invest in a liquid titrate kit because it does matter.

Your rinsing with city water? Is that water not heated?

What titration kit are you using for caustic PAA and acid? I have use the strips and hate them

Your chemical provider should be able to tell you where to purchase one because they want it to align with their chemicals with the correct numbers. There are a few manufacturers. If not, reach out to me, and I can help you.

Could you tell me what acid do you use for your acid tank?
