    Really loved this episode, jay park is truly an amazing humble human being that gets sooooo misjudged and misunderstood by people that don’t even know him. If only more ppl actually knew his story and what he had to come up from. Jay has so much wisdom and experience, his perspective on things is just mind blowing. I can see why so many people in the industry from his artists to celebrities to staff/employees say that jay park is an amazing person after having an encounter with him. This right here👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾so many people are quick to judge him. I for one prefer to look past a persons mistakes and see them for who they are not what they’ve done. My flaws and shortcomings don’t define me. We’re human naturally we’re bound to make mistakes. Are we perfect? No. Will we learn from them? Yes. I just hope people start to see him for who he is not what’s he’s done in the past. There’s a reason why people who are signed to his label and have met him even those that left his label have nothing but good to say about him

    • @bertram5806

      @@sarang326 easier when you apologize for your mistakes instead of replying back with ignorance. I would have given Jay park another chance if he apologized for his mistakes, however, he ,are ignorant remarks responding to the controversy. I’m not going to say he’s a bad person, but I don’t think he’s being misjudged when that’s the persona he gave people. He does make good music, but his controversies caused him to lose a lot of support especially from the newer generation.

    That's why he is my role model and motivator. His values and beliefs never changed since day 1. Most ppl who don't follow his career closely and just look at him through his persona on stage or judge him through social media won't understand why he has so many loyal fans. My only suggestion for ppl who want to know the real JAY PARK and learn some motivational insights from him is to find and watch some of his interviews or find the testimony from his crew, friends, artists in his labels, colleagues, staffs/employees, or even other celebrities who had encountered him in real life. You will know how amazing he is not only as an artist but also as a human being.
    As his fan for 10 years now, I'm so proud to witness his growth as an artist and as a human. He has so much wisdom to share with other ppl.

    You guys asked great questions and Jay answered them eloquently as always, I can see the happiness all over your faces while he answering them 😂. I mean, me too! I’ve been his fan for so many years and along the way Ive learned and keep learning so many new things from him. I would say that he's one of the wisest men ever, and he always gives the best answers when it comes to things that most people struggle with, other than music. Finding the grasp of who you are, your identity, purposes, and LIFE, to put it simply.
    Jay is the kinda person who is always eager to learn, understand, and connect to things. And he’s not afraid to share and speak about his perspective and honest opinion.
    I really like the last part that you talked about the haters🤣 some ppl be hating on him for some ridiculous reasons or even fake news. They're really just spreading fake news to make people hate on him more because they don't like the way he's aware and confident in his own accomplishments. Some of them just misinterpret or twist the meaning and the intentions of his words. While all he’s doing is inspiring people to be kinder to other human beings…I bet most of them haven’t really had a chance to understand and experience in the world of work, growth and life that well yet lol💀.
    You guys did great again tho, the vibe of the interview is so comfortable, casual but packed with interesting conversations! and I like how the atmosphere changes depending on which guest haha

    Such a humble, genuine person. I’m so proud of the man he has become. I’ve seen him walking and using public transportation often, he no longer flashes expensive watches like he used to in his old days. I so relate to him, as we get older, some of us find values in different things..

    Jay Park is such a genuine and humble person, hating on a guy like that says more about you than about him, but I don't expect people that live and breathe on social media to understand that. real people that know him will always know better. That's why he's a role model to so many kpop idols and khh artists.

    This is by far the best interview ever. I knew Jay Park (not personally) and appreciated him for what I saw and knew of him, which was very little. Now because of this video I have even more respect for him. I can’t understand why there are some who hate on him. When I clicked this video I pondered my existence. My future is uncertain. But his values and wisdom that he shared was uplifting and a breath of fresh air when I felt I was suffocating. He’s a good person. Much love and respect...

    That interview was definitely for the culture. I am not even a big fan of Jay, but i enjoy really much is music and i always love to watch his interviews cause i like the way he's goofy but at the same time so eloquent and conscious about everything he says. He seems to inspire a lot of people around him (Sik-k, Groovyroom, Youngji...) and today he choose to inspire us, so thanks for that and that's for letting that happened guys ! Someone call a doctor because my heart was stolen by JAY PARK!!
    Seriously...
    I love this episode, so very much!!
    Not only did one of my top 5 dream guests appear on Taste of Culture; but, the interview was great! The conversation between Lou and Jay about finding your purpose really hit home, for me.
    The whole show was great! Loved the game twist! Jay's answers to Ous' questions were deeply interesting and meaningful!
    I was so engrossed in the topics of conversation...I just lost track of time. That's how good this show is!
    The only thing that was disappointing about the show was that it had to end.
    I love this season of TOC and watching the evolution of Lou and Ous growing into world class interviewers, sharing their love of K-pop/k-rap, culture. And, them spreading inspiration, kindness and positivity with everyone!❤

  • @gyediee
    @gyediee 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +52

    The internet is a scary place, which is why I never really had an "opinion" on him over the past years I've been endeavoring in "K-pop" and this whole video proved my point. There is a lot of ignorance in the world that people don't want or don't care to get rid of from their person. The internet tries to portray celebrities like their not human beings...The only difference is you're watching their life and think you can have the audacity to have a say because you watched them... (which is crazy to me but not my business what people do with their time) Although, watching interviews from his beginning v now just shows how he expanded as a person. I really admire him, because having many people view you and seeing how they view you is a very alarming thing, especially with how you take it (especially over long periods of time). Also, seeing how the internet portrayed him v how he actually is just irked my nerves slightly because I was starting to believe the "haters" who I now see takes everything with a grain of salt and run with it. However, having the mindset he has requires a lot of in-body and out-of-body experiences, and I can see now why he wants to exit stage left after over a decade in the biz. Imma take a lot of his advice with me because even though I have no plans of being a K-pop star or a singer in general. I can apply many of his words to my life seeing how it got him to where he is. (I don't usually comment or even talk this much but I commend this video fr)

      I’m starting to see a cycle where y’all call people that call him out on his problems “haters”. He didn’t even humbly apologize for many of things he did. Cause if he did the “people grow and change” argument would be valid here

    • @gyediee
      @gyediee 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      at the end of the day, even if he apologized I wouldn't forgive him... there is a difference between apologizing and doing that exact same thing again vs. acknowledging your wrongdoings and not doing them again... at the end of the day people forget and fall back into their own habits... As a black person myself im not disregarding all of the hurtful things he's done to people or the ignorance he has shown. Im just saying the way people portray him on the internet vs how he seems to be, falls on 2 different spectrums. I just said I respect what he said and how he runs his business... he's really intelligent and plus we all know that mfk is not stupid or blind. although his past mistakes follow him, I feel like he simply won't apologize or constantly does shit out of ignorance but knowing what he's doing... with that being said there's no argument here I dont like nor care for the nigga but I respect his grind ( not the process but yk) @@itsnatemate7697 also people are still "haters" im an avid hater of everyone in a relationship but ion go telling them to do shit I just hate excessive pda but that's beside the point. my point is people do what they want so having a say on him doing very questionable things and telling him to kh$ or anything else other than tellin him he is dead wrong for what he does or is doing is worse so...
