The late Nicodemus inspired Chaka Demus into the dancehall, although before Chaka joined Pliers, he performed as Nicodemus Junior. While Chaka went onto relish international notoriety, Nicodemus joined Supercat's "Wild Apache" posse in New York following his success with "Keeping A Dance".
