- Guitarists who are often on the road and need an amplifier that delivers in many different musical settings should take a closer look at the HB-80R. This lightweight combo amp weighs in at just under 14 kg and is equipped with a 12” Celestion speaker. With 65 Watts of power on tap, this combo has no trouble getting you heard. Two channels with separate 3-band EQs as well as Gain and Volume controls give you all the flexibility you need. The Gain control on channel 2 and the onboard TEC (Tube Emulating Circuit) feature put a wide variety of crunch and drive sounds at your disposal. And if you’re into effects, activate the integrated reverb or add your favourite external effects using the effects loop. A headphone output, MP3 input, Line Out and an external speaker connection complete the HB-80R’s impressive feature set.

YOUR STYLE. YOUR GEAR.
Got it back in 2019 as a bundle with my first guitar, the HB SC-550 (I) Tobbaco Flame, the best purchase i could have made as a beginer. Since then Harley Benton is my go to guitar brand, just got my Ex-84 diy kit last week. I love HB!
Thanks so much :)
I've bought this amp about a year ago. For those asking whether it's loud enough to gig. It is! I use it at home and can't turn the volume over 9 o'clock. The (real) spring reverb is wonderful. It has a warm bassy tone. Too bad, mine has a hiss in it for which I have to put a noisekiller in the effectsloop.
Harley Benton produces great guitars and amplifiers 🎸🙂
Liked the beginning, Makes me think of Wes Borland.
I was thinking just the same😅
@@sadiep5544 yeah something from the Gold Cobra Album
Harley benton, can you make a review with pedals and using the FX loop of this amp... Many people is considering this amp as a pedal platform (sorry my english)
Sounds good. Now run it against Tube15 ;)
Does it have enough clean headroom for a gig? Not super big venue but at least for small ones?
class sound
PEOPLE of Planet Earth: try find the older Mosfet version! one heck of a JAZZ AMP! just found a 2nd one fo 100€!!
The amp is great and so is the guitar (the top in gold is gorgeous, but the whole guitar.. mmh a bit cringe 😷)
Btw going to buy and HB40 + Custom III, i hate you for showing us so many good stuffs ❤
Maybe a 110v version for our North American friends?
Just get a TRANNY for it!
Lmao, PooNinja
I would love myself a metal focused solid state HB head, maybe with an oversized 4x12? You have no idea how cool it would be to replace my randall without killing my wallet
Is this amp loud enough for gigs?
In my experience 65w solid state is not enough, you should be nearer 90w to be sure. FWIW. My Peavey Bandit 112 mk. 3 usually works (80w - 100w with extension cab).
So ive just sold my catalyst 60. Maybe this is for me. Nah i think im giving a tube amp ago next
