I use both at camps.
Here are the pros and cons of the Varta L30RH camping lantern compared to the Philips Hue Go:
Pros of the Varta L30RH:
* Water-resistant (IP54) and shockproof
* Longer battery life
* Hybrid battery system, you can change AA batteries if its die
* Have hook
Cons of the Varta L30RH:
* Does not offer the range of color options and mood-setting capabilities of the Philips Hue Go.
* It’s not cool as Hue go:)
* It can only be used for outdoor activities. But Philips Hue Go has a lot of usage scenario.
