"Mr. Seaga fought for revivalist": Revival Table Set for the late Prime Minister

- Revivalist came out to celebrate former Prime Minister The Honorable Edward Seaga who died in May of this year. He has done significant academic work on Revivalism in Jamaica. A revival table was set in honor of him. Family members were present at the Table and they also participated in candle lighting ritual.
Beautiful, nothing like when the black nation, connecting to their ancestors.
Seaga was a true revivalist and helped to promote this part of Jamaica's culture.

This is African spirituality. Its beautiful to see all of my people honoring their ancestors. Let's all educate ourselves more instead of allowing TV and Hollywood depictions of our blackness and our culture to determine how we see our selves.

Rivival church is the strongest...out of many one people
Revivalism is field slave Christianity, it is most in tune with the ancestors and our original spirituality, as opposed to Baptists, Catholicism, Methodist, etc.. We were forced to practice Christianity under slavery and revivalism is the best way we could merge our own culture and that of the oppressor.

Remember when Jesus asked "who do people say I am"? and one of the disciples said "Some say you are Elisha come again". The bible is a book, but it is steeped in Jewish culture and a larger tradition of mysticism. Dig a little deeper and you'll see a lot of what Africans do, they do also. I follow the tradition of my Nigerian ancestors and as stated before, we do have the concept of reincarnation. I don't know who your messiah is, or who your saints are. God loves all of you present at that table, but you know that gathering is not of God. You have a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. To say Seaga is gone to heaven is an indictment on you unless he repented before he dies. Revival means something was there before and it's coming back. What you call revival is Poke. You do fetish things and God does not partake of things offered to idols. Jesus Christ does not deal with witchcraft. SEAGA did some good things, but he was also a wretched man and a tyrant, and like I said if he did not repent of his sins, before he died, its too late now. Seaga used his Sociological to background weave his way into Jamaican politics and had blinded the eyes of the Jamaican people. Do you forget what he did before 1976 election. The man paid the food distributor, like EVE, GRACE, NU-PAK and the rest to hoard the food and after he won the election, all the foods were dumped on the shores in Kingston.
