Hey MrBossFTW, I found something interesting above the "M" of Mount Shann. It's in the very top of a rocky hill. It looks like a prehistoric obelisk with rocks around it. It has some rocks with red, yellow and orange arrows. Arthur won't do any comments about it, though.
I found out another way to carry the man back. Just stow him on your horse, then you run to the mayor place on foot. Then call for your horse. You do not get caught doing it this way!

I actually completed these missions when I got back from Guarma.
I chose to spare Jean-Marc.
He actually becomes the mayor of Saint Denis if you choose to spare him.
He actually took away the “Wanted Dead or Alive” you get when returning from Guarma, until I started the next story mission.
I thought that was pretty cool.

I let him go in this mission. Jean-Marc became the mayor afterwards. The Mayor got forced out for corruption. I got honor for letting him go. I guess in my next play through i will try to be evil Arthur. First play through i tried to let people go when i felt they weren't needed to be killed. So i got max honor with Arthur and now with John after 100% story completion with free roam. Max honor you get 50% off everywhere, it's not worth the 10% off unless you needed if you play evil Arthur play through.
That's how I'm doing it too. First play through GOOD Arthur. Second RUTHLESS Arthur.
If I do this mission with Arthur do I get a discount also with jack after when Arthur dies or do I have to wait and have john do the mission

If you have high honor you already get 80% off all stores and shops including barbers and gun shops.

@@pre3pz608 gold bars is not better than 20k because 1. You earned 20k and 2. 20k is enough to buy everything you want in the game AND fill the legend of the east satchel. The gold bar glitch would definitely lower your enjoyment and time you want to play

@@pre3pz608 Yeah there's no way Rockstar isn't going to patch the gold bar glitch eventually, probably within the next month or so when Red Dead Online starts up. Don't rely on something that you know won't remain in the game, it's better to try getting money through legitimate ways so you aren't blindsided once the game is patched.
Besides, you can easily make money in the game regardless. Getting the gold bars through the Treasure Maps nets you tons of cash, not to mention all the loot you get from killing people in the main story or random encounters.

Just completed the mission and found a much easier way to get Luis back to the mayor’s home without being detected. I put him on my horse, then went to the mayor’s house on foot. Once there, I simply whistled for my horse and she came running to me with Louis stowed on her back

You can still get discounts on things if you have high enough honor and that's in every major town instead of being in one town
Also a great tip u don't have to put no more than $25 in the camp box at a time because the ammo,medicine are for you only I just deliver excess food that I have collected while hunting..The NPC's at camp don't use the ammo or medicine it's for u only NO NEED to glitch ungodly gold when u lose it all when u go to the Epilogue 1 with JM..

If you completed the mission where Arthur dies and you get to the epilogue you'll lose all your glitched money but you can still do the glitch but only that bill fold glitch in mattock pond and the gold bar glitch in the sheriff's office works at least until rockstar patch the glitch
@@Seanner16 you dont need the glitches doe. After you finish the epilogue you get 20k and that's more than enough to buy everything in the game
There's no need for the discount, there's more money than you'll ever need if you look for it.

I've had over $3,000 in money since chapter 2 so a mere 10% discount at the shops doesn't really affect me whatsoever.
There's enough free items to pick up or loot that you should never have to even go into a shop very much at all.

I had no ideea about this mission. During my first playthrough i didn't read all of the letters that Arthur was receiving so i didn't know about many many side quests. And man, those sidequests are a piece of art!

Played Part 1 as Arthur, Parts 2 & 3 as John so that farming book made even more sense for John with the ranch
On his second mission is how i learn i could trample ppl after missions that you are not alowed to kill

You literally don't need the discount though. At the same point in the story, I had 8000 dollars. I didn't do any glitches, and the only gold bar I had found was the one in the burnt out sherrifs office.

@Julian Tang yes you do need the discount because for 100% completion you need to buy 3 horses that you cannot get in the wild and the discount is well worth losing a little honor for.

I have been watching a lot of rdr2 videos now that I'm playing the campain again, and one hint I have is to not watch this channel, because a lot of his videos are fake and he says a lot of things that aren't true (not couting that he makes lots of click baits, like when he says "every item in the game" in the tittle when it's just for the shops in Saint Denis, and he always take a lot of time to really get to the point of the video), for example, in this video he says that "you can gain honor back, but there is no other way in the game in which you can get 10% OFF every item in Saint Denis" (11:19 ), which is *totally* false, because if you have rank 2 of honor, you can already have 10% OFF in all shops in the game, not only in Saint Denis, in rank 5 you get 25% OFF and in rank 7 you can get *50%* OFF in *all* shops in the game, and actually, you don't gain 10% OFF by killing Jean Marc, you gain 5%, but yes, it does sum with the 50% of the honor, for me it ain't woth to kill him just to get 5% OFF that is almost nothing, and only in Saint Denis, but it's up to you to decide if it's worth it or not. But if you don't plan in having high honor, in this case it's worthy for sure, but I highly recomend to have high honor. In conclusion he may be right about if it's worthy or not (like I already sad, I think it's up to the person), but the video have a lot of wrong information, so if you're going to watch this channel, be carefull and don't trust in everything he says whithout searching in other places before.

in red dead in general I find being nice to people often gets you more in the long run, however when money is on the line you better learn to dodge bullets, then again considering I spent several in game days lassoing people off of wagons, robbing them and turning their wagons into the fence in emerald ranch I was hardly the nicest version of Arthur as is

The easiest way to get dude across town is to throw him on your horse then run directly through the park and jump the fence on the other side. Once at the mayor's whistle for your horse. It goes by unnoticed with dude on it's back.
If you are playing as a villain then this makes sense. If you are playing as good guy, not so much.
