If you're still supporting the Trudeau/NDP party, you're a lost cause.
I don't even engage with them anymore. The polls are so low that any Lib/NDP defender's input means absolutely nothing. They're not going to win next round, they're not worth entertaining in any conversation.
If someone on the street tells you the sky is purple, you don't engage with them. You nod and walk away. Treat them same, as their input weighs the same.

Government overspending causes inflation. Increased spending means increasing Inflation. They have no intention of actually making things better. It's vote buying even if it makes everything worse.

Amazing! Budget can balance itself, then why can't the climate balance itself? Carbon dioxide can be absorbed by trees and plants and produce oxygen. Fighting for climate change is a myth.

Servicing costs of this growing debt is close to $50 BILLION YEARLY..more than is spent on health care.. I guess the blackface’s “ budgets balance themselves” is a reflection of his economic acumen…
I think it’s around 64 billion now, which is more than what we spend on healthcare!!!!

@@EricaWaters-lr6zw Our family got introduced to a financial consultant about four years before my dad retired. That was what changed things, and I think my retirement income will be on the right track, luxury cars and trips

Still printing our currency as debt at interest out of thin air. And we wonder where the inflation is coming from.
So it's more of the same thing that wasn't working last budget.
In summary, we're screwed.
It is one thing to have no deficit but what conservatives do is turn their deficit into national debt to make it look better. Our GDP was about half of what it is now and Harper owed more than our entire GDP is today, Conservatives "YOu will own and owe more than you own for the rest of your life and be yet another slave to the billionaires!"

Not enough spend reductions from government as usual. This is not a budget, more of a bill!
Serious question: Are taxpayer funded school lunches and taxpayer funded birth control and taxpayer funded daycare REALLY things we NEED right now? Where are the banks when the country needs them? They were quick with their hand out when they wanted a bailout.
Drummond and co. have been saying, "oh, but the debt will be paid by our grandchildren" for years. Meanwhile, housing prices have skyrocketed, wages have stagnated, and a huge market in precarious jobs has emerged, which complicates his picture of low unemployment. If he was an honest power broker he would just say what he means: poor and middle income Canadians have to accept declining standards of living, and the rich will continue to accumulate even more. The endless economic growth for all that was apparently in view when Drummond reached his career peak is long gone. "That is the law and the profits."
Wow, what an insight to this pathetic budget. It's got to fail. Singh needs to grow a set.
Wait till next month, Inflation is going to jump up over 3% and BoC is not going to cut rates in June. In 2024 if there is one rate cut, it would be a victory.
