Listen i agree with this my friend who recently started youtube doing these too but this isnt the content creators fault my friend used to make AMAZING edits they were so original but ppl didnt give much attention to them and she was also really sad that how she stuck at like 50 subs when she does her edits. But now she do those funny shorts not the reppetive ones. But yea the community messed up thats why the original ideas/edits dosent get much attention

Imo people should be more original man. It's ok if they give the credits to the person who has that idea, but like you said, it can get so popular that people dont even know who had that idea. I'm not saying that there can only be one short of each idea, but there also can't be too much ppl doing it.
