Correct me if I am wrong, but the finished castle design you used as an example throughout the video (eg. 00:00-00:10) was built by a player in Global Conflict 1 - WalisCTN (me). I am fairly certain that is one of the 4 villages you took from me one night in Siberia. Am I correct? It would be cool to see my design being used as an example of good defense.
yes thats totally true i capped some of your casltes cause u build really nice villages and the had a lot of pitch in your castles, but tbh i changed the layout of the caslte a bit before really defeding with it and i think the reports should now already be deleted since its some time ago
U know, I'm a player from Russian worlds, unfortunately I don't play at Global, but a lot of my friends play against u in GC. Though the idea of building such castles is broadly known - I liked the video due 2 a good description and speech. Respect, and of course have a nice game!
i devised a nice tactic to clear these castles. you just have to clear the moat in the same attack that you take out the walls with the pitch on them, then follow it with footmen to tip all the pots once the moat is gone. the oil pots disappear from the battle if you destroy the wall they are on, but they reappear on the floor for the next battle. all you have to do, is clear the moat on the same attack that you destroy the walls with the pitch on. this castle takes advantage of 2 things. one that people will attack straight for the keep, and so will destroy the pitch pot walls on the same attack that takes the outer towers down. and two that no-one bothers to research swordsmen. i send my breaker aimed shallow, so it doesn't touch the oil pots. then i send my captains in with 2 arrow volleys on the keep, 2 charging to berzerk and rally with 150 swordsmen. put these back a bit so they take 20-30 seconds to reach the moat. in the mean time your 120 cats will knock down all the pitch and finish off the pike in the keep. by the time the 2 captains reach the moat, all the pitch is gone from the catapults, and berzerk swordsmen cut through a moat like nothing. i can kill these castles with 2 attacks. it gets more difficult if they put down 100s of pike on aggressive. but you just have to send a lot of pot tipping waves between your real attacks.
You mean: With the advanced guardhouses and last stand and other cards that you can add after you see a timed attack, including a captained last army, is coming and you have inserted id to cut off breakers. But no repair other than the 1-time repair card. The metric is: How many timed full breakers can hit before the captain and you can still probably survive.
I am however dubious that maximizing that is what makes "the difference" for "the Russians". Greater cooperating numbers and a willingness to pay to win is where the real muscle is. Have an advantage in that and stone castles will work just fine.
+Panic Official i said at the start that the castle in the video is a Standard castle, not that that one is the best, ill make another video showing alot of Pitchcastlevariantes and even better ones

for a better castle , you can excahnge the corner for a 4x4 tower. after it is done, you can put tourelle between tis 4x4 and 5x5 tower
Stone castles are still not back ^^ However stopping lines are a must.

How where you able to place multiple oil pots at once? I can only place one at a time.

Select oil pot, switch to soldier tab pick the 5x5 layout.
So it's pretty much the same but with extended pitch
