1:46:46 oh man... that frame of Hifumi and the cruise missile still gives me chills!
Same! I think I got goosebumps when playing that part.
Blue Archive knew SoL can weaken our defense for this kind of twists XD
Your resident Nagisa apologist here, back with another wall of text!
Chapter 3 gave a much closer look at what was going on in Nagisa’s mind during the previous chapters. Her paranoia wasn’t her normal state. At the start of Chapter 1, not only did her friend just die (with just how RARE deaths are in Kivotos, one must imagine this to be a colossally traumatic event), she was ASSASSINATED, and the culprit is still at large. Nagisa had no time to grieve for Seia, is now convinced that she’s the next target, and is afraid of leaving her dear childhood friend Mika alone in a hostile world if she don’t do something about it, fast. To the players, Nagisa’s actions may be going overboard, but when lives are on the line, how much is too much, exactly?
Besides, we find out by the end of Chapter 2 that Nagisa’s paranoia wasn’t baseless: in fact, ALL OF HER SUSPICIONS WERE RIGHT. There really WAS a traitor at Trinity, the traitor really was working to stop the treaty, and there really was an assassination attempt on her life. Is it still paranoia if there really was a conspiracy?
The only problem is that the traitor was Mika. Even in the depths of her paranoia, when she suspected even Hifumi (who she was very fond of), Nagisa would never suspect her dear childhood friend Mika. Nagisa was only in such a rush to find the traitor because she’s afraid of leaving Mika in a dangerous situation if she really was assassinated. All of the terrible things that Nagisa did (which she acknowledges were terrible here, when she apologized to Hifumi) was done out of love of Mika. For all of Nagisa’s efforts, for all the terrible price she paid, all of it was for naught. Her choice of possible traitors never included Mika, and now her Magnum Opus, the Eden Treaty, lies in flames and ruins, literally.
Knowing what we know now, I cannot bring myself to dislike Nagisa. I feel like she is a highly sympathetic character who was dealt a tremendously bad hand by fate.
Up till now only one (probably two) students that the story paints as baddies
Oh boy, the calm before the storm. Time to show what Arius was taught to do. As for your war comment, Kivotos and all of its schools are not at war with each other. There are hooligans yes, but currently no school has declared war on another. They all just vibe with each other. And for halos, like Azusa said: it’s possible to break a halo on purpose, but the reason it doesn’t happen is because it requires a LOT of excessive force to do so. For reference, taking a TANK for a joyride is seen as a minor offense. Children in kindergarten play with LIVE GRENADES (tho they are scolded for doing so). Most of these are minor inconveniences at best for em, so imagine the kind of force it really takes to fatally wound another student. You have to be going all out, long past the point where your opponent passes out and stops being a problem. And as bad as several of the students may seem, they are all good natured at heart and just don’t have it in them to off another student. That’s why breaking a halo doesn’t happen as often. It takes too much firepower and willpower to accomplish. As for bad forces that aren’t students, they either believe themselves above students to the point where if they live or die it doesn’t matter to them (Kaiser for one), or are too busy studying them rather than trying to kill them (Gematria for example).
So that's why! Thank you for the explanation~ I actually thought that there was some kind of cold war going on between the schools (and Gehenna and Trinity being the worst ones out of all), considering how much political tension there was between them in the Volumes that I've completed so far. It's good to know that it's not actually like that though!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Think of it as interschool rivalries... Its only prevalent with these 2 major schools since they've been established for so long in comparison to the other academies...Though yes some students do take such rivalries too far and power gets into their heads... On average the students are more neutral towards each other...
Oh wow this was perfect timing, i just finished binging all your other story playthroughs a few hours ago, now i can continue binging
Hehe enjoy watching in that case! ❤️
The expresso depresso train is almost here
You mean the BEST espresso depresso train~ Jkjk 🤪
1:48:11
Maybe u already answered this yourself, but on Trinity's side, the best thing to do is to finish the treaty first.
They know nothing on how Arius can sneak to Trinity,
but they estimated that Arius wont have enough power to fight against the justice task force and yet again the prefect team 42:46
And so, they decided to put the treaty first before the Arius problem :p
That's true. Plus, they didn't have much time to really look into Arius!
Remember senseis... They all deserved infinite chances to redempt themselves
That's true! But still, I gotta let the story carry me and continue having the right reactions (that the writers want) during each of those moments -- or else it won't be as satisfying (as a player) when I reach those redemption periods for those students. hehe
Oh, I guess no one told you that there’s two events that canonically take place between 3-2 and 3-3.
A summer event involving Azusa, Hifumi, Tsurugi and Mashiro
And a summer event including the Prefect Team.
They add a little context and they’re referenced but it’s not the end of the world if you don’t play them before. I couldn’t because they weren’t archived when I was going through the game but now they’re available always.
making the momotalks canon does make sensei's relationship with the students suddenly progress without you realizing. it's a bit jarring tbh, I think you'll notice this the most with Hina...
You have a point there. I don't think I noticed too much only because I finished the anniversary event and her first MomoTalks, but I can see it being very jarring to some people who weren't able to do that.
Me who start D ako without seeing ako story 🤯
Oh boy now we're getting to the even better part!
Indeed, we are~
Rewatching this chapter, reminds me of how brilliant and devious Hanako and the way she thinks is... She downplays her real intentions, makes the top students of both Sisterhood and Tea Party look foolish, and still keeps her cards a mystery while everyone plays with an open hand for her...
YESSSSS, Hanako seriously is one of the best characters I've seen in this game so far. Hope to see more of her in the future!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Oh, i am sure you will "see more" of her in the future...
Hina's momotalk event would also explain how they got really close. You can watch it online if you dont have her but its definitely a good read. She's just really reliable, strong and wise too so its just a plus for sensei to trust her the most. Looking forward to the next part!
I've played one of her MomoTalk event in one of the earlier streams! But it sure felt natural, regardless, that sensei would trust her the most, just from the way she was in Volume 1. Or at least, I know that I would trust her, just from the way she was in that Volume.
She's popular in the community and John Nexon's favorite for a reason. Aside from being a well written character, she just gives off trustworthy vibes. And her actions throughout the game speaks for itself. The next part of the story will further solidify it so I'm excited for that
1:05:51 DON'T. TAKE. THE. TEAPARTY'S. CHAIR!
(There's an ongoing meme about Nagina's portrait is always sitting in her fancy chair, even in more serious / dire situations. Even the devs made fun of it in various PVs and stuff lmao)
LOLOLOL That makes me want to take her chair even more now. hahaha Just to see what would happen! XD (But also, it makes me want to tease Nagisa a little with how serious she can be~ hehe)
Thanks for the BA content~
Thank you for watching!
The build up of this arc is just great, it start like a normal day with a hint of tension in the air, we know there is a threat in the background but don't know when it would strike and when they are in a feeling of security is when all fall down. Also the interpersonal relationships explored and develop is what make it worse to witness because god dam this game made me CARE!
The reason Gehena and Trinity hate each other so much is, as my opinion and observation, because they represent polar oposites, not only the obvious as Gehena is Hell and Trinity Haven but also their principals, if you remember the anniversary event you can see how Gehena students are driven by their emotions and are more chaotic, they represent freedom to the extreme.
Meanwhile Trinity is so stoic and organized, they follow very strict rules and do all by consense, their history is filled with conflict that got resolve when they sat down and talk about it with a "tea Party". Also it suppose they had a conflict before but since the Student Council interfere they kept on a state of cold war.
and you are right Trinity as a school is not my favorite but they have wonderful students, some of my favorites are among them, they also redeem most of their faults later on.
That's very true! Now that I had more time to think about the things I've read, you're very very right about what you said about the two being polar opposites! But yes, I also agree that Trinity has some wonderful students, albeit it's still not my favorite school overall, but I can't help but like a lot of the students individually~ hehe
Mari is too precious for this world. She is a shining beacon of kindness and deserves all of the love in the world.
No other girl would take a claymore to the face and still greet people with a blessing for their happiness.
Even the Developers told the playerbase to repent if they think Mari is a bad girl!
Mari is definitely one of the most heartwarming students in Trinity!
hanako is absolutely SAVAGE when it matters
And that is why I like her a lot! XD
Nagisa's nightmare in a nutshell:
Hifumi: How bold of you thinking that you can be my friend.
The day that Hifumi thinks that is the day that the world is going to be flipped upside down.
if we took shots for every time, when we could say: hanako, no. we would be blasted after 30 minutes.
LMAO, I would be blasted after the first 2 shots.
Oh boy,...i hope you're ready, this story is quite a ride
I am indeed ready! (And quite honestly, SUPER EXCITED!)
Oh boy~
I dont what to write without thinking it could be spoilers 😅
🤔 Maybe I can say that from this chapter, the devs finally showed us why the name Blue Archive, the theme and tone of the story for future patches.
This chapter gave birth to the name Peak Archive XD
Hehe how exciting! Need to see more of PEAK ARCHIVE!
Next ep gonna be stressful.
It was indeed stressful.
seia : 🐦🐦🐦
I advise against progressing further, as you need at least lvl 40 to beat the boss with normal difficulty(i beat it at lvl 38) but when i was lvl 33 it was such a pain trying to pass through and failing every time
Well, I did reach level 35, so maybe I'll be okay. haha I guess we'll see how it goes~!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna well, if you have s hanako or iroha, maybe dress hina will work out too since she is op
finally i can say the tea party is trash
😂😂😂 Oh my... I mean I can see why you think so, but at the same time, I'm looking forward to their growth and development as the Tea Party and as themselves individually. haha
