I just got 67 mustang, 68 mustang, 1968 camaro z28 and jeep rubicon with $13 for each 3 days ago. Actually my aunt bought them at Costco in CA. And I found that most of them was reviewed on your channel. I have to admit that you do very very well and you definitely inspired me. Now i'm sure that those car models were the best choices. Thank you and I'm looking forward to your next reviews.
I have 8 Maisto`s in my collection. My three best; Audi R8 croc-o-file, Teal 65` Corvette, Red 2001 Corvette w/gold BBS rims (lucked out). For the money, best diecast for the buck.
Maisto did a great job with all those Mustangs that body style. Crazy for anyone to complain about detail on a ($15 @ Costco or Sams) car. If one wants better detail buy a Auto Art or a GMP for $200. Many of the Maisto models have doors that open realistically instead of the wide swing doors on several of the more expensive models. So if the Maisto cars detailing isn’t to your liking the spend more for a more detailed model. All due respect sir.
Maisto's are low end models. The quality actually is quite good for models of this price point. If you want better quality you have to spend more for higher quality models. You get what you pay for!
I found the one your looking for. The interior and engine could be more detailed, but it still looks good. I've never seen one in person, but I know motormaxs are well made. I would like to see carpeting and more coloring on the inside, but you can't ask for too much for a $60 1/12 (also considering the car will be almost 40 cm long!) From what I see in pictures, and what I know about motormax, I think you will be very happy with it.
Liked your review, however I do have one question to the blue variant, which seems to be having a different wheel, is that the only difference or something else is there?
The model itself is essentially the same as mine except it is actually a Cobra Jet version. The model will therefore have some different details like the wheels as you mentioned, and the engine. My GTA has the stock 390 cid engine and the Cobra Jet has the 427 cid.
Sorry JCM but I want to ask a question: I want to buy a 1/12 McLaren SLR for maybe 53-60 dollars I think. Is it worth the money? And is it good enough for that price.
Maisto. Make cars for the price Not bad it kinda look like car from Steve McQueen Bullitt compare Auto art it cost more now need the Black 70 charger still it nice car
hope it wil work as good as it works for me i dit it on my cars 10 years ago stil are whit beautiful crome now i,m working on the sespension problem of maisto
Considering that this was 1967 an automatic would have been considered a luxury. It is also available for those who can't drive manuals or just don't want to put up with shifting gears. Personally, I wouldn't take a auto mustang.
Nice review, convinced me to buy one.I know its 67,but i made bullitt out of it anyway...just put in google this : Bullitt project (Maisto 1:18) | Facebook . Check it out...And would be possible to se review of Maisto Chevy Nova in HD?keep up good work man!

Nguyen To Nice! I actually have the 67 mustang and Rubicon. They are excellent models, especially the Rubicon which I believe is one of Maisto's best.

why would you want an automatic transmission w/ your Mustang?
