    The people on here saying that Pop is disgusting and an idiot and all this stuff, I just don't understand it. The things he's saying are right on. He's not saying Trump can't do good things, he's not even criticizing his political views. He's criticizing Trump's character. He's saying that character should matter more than anything else when it comes to being President. A man that makes fun of the disabled shouldn't be president of the United States, it's that simple. I'm stunned that's not obvious to everyone. You guys act like Turmp's some kind of savior, like he's the only American capable of leading the country to greener pastures. It's foolish. There are 300 million plus people in this country; at least half of those people are conservative. If you wanted a conservative, you could have elected one that wasn't such a terrible role model for our children. Trump's emotional immaturity should disqualify him from running this country. I don't care if he's a great businessman or anything about his political views because there are others that are equally qualified but do not have the character issues. It really seems like there would have been a better choice.
    You guys act like you can't vote third party. It didn't have to be Trump OR Clinton.

    Lost a lot of respect for this guy and I'm not even a Trump supporter. He gives 1 word answers for every interview involving basketball when he should go into detail. In the one interview that involves politics he decided to go on a rant. He said it himself. He's a rich white guy. He's obviously out of touch with reality. I'm a minority from the middle class. I've been abused every day because of me being a minority. We've had politicians that were PC and said all of the right things. Nothing was accomplished. What I want to see in a leader is someone who goes against the grind to actually stand up for what's right. I don't think Donald Trump is that guy, but he's absolutely clueless if he thinks Hillary is going to be the one that would have made a difference. Hillary is basically the PC version of Trump with more experience and more baggage. Does he not know that Bill and Hillary were friends with Donald? Give me a break. Doc Rivers had the correct response to this question.

      Daniel Lynch actually this answer was about as meaningless as his answers to the dumb questions that he gets about basketball. I'd totally understand it if he made this speech before the election and endorsed Hillary Clinton before the election the way Lebron James and Mark Cuban did. Talking about it after the election is absolutely pointless.

    Thank you for speaking up, Coach. I'm just glad my kids are old enough to have their own opinions, and they're disgusted at the way Trump talks about others. Forget his politics, just his embarassingly childish rudeness should have given voters pause for thought; I'd hate to think what I'd have to say to them if they were kids. "But the President said it!" "Doesn't matter what the President said, you have to show more respect for people."
    Smh, what a disgrace.

      Forget politics? A president’s politics and policies are the only things that directly impact our lives. His rudeness only affects people’s feelings. I’ll take a president who hurts my feelings, but who’s policies lead to lower gas prices and a more secure border.

      @@kittona8754 In a word, regulations. Democratic values include policies that typically result in more unnecessary regulations and more taxes, which cost people like me more money. Inflation and gas prices started taking off since Biden took office. When a president goes after the oil industries just like he said he would do in his campaign , what did you think was going to happen? I sure do miss the days of rude behavior from our president, to go along with low gas prices…among other things.

    • @kittona8754
      @kittona8754 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@hammer3353 I hear you, Nick. Seems like medium-sized businesses are always the ones to pay the costs of higher regulation, not the worker class and not the mega-corporations or the ultra-wealthy. Would that describe your situation?
      I mean, I accept that the days of unfettered environmental exploitation have to come to any end. Climate change is real and we're in a very precarious place, as a species. But it seems like yet again those who really benefited, whose control and ownership of the fossil fuel resources put them into the stratosphere, financilly speaking, will get off with no sacrifice, no obligation, no loss of their oligarchic power. And those who run businesses, employ people, and keep the economic machine on the road will be hit with the higher fuel costs, higher wages, more stringent environmental regulations.
      I'm almost sympathetic to those who say a lot of the pain could be avoided, a lot of the new necessities could be paid for by a one-off billionaire tax.... except that the billionaires would have to agree to it and they never will. They didn't get that rich by agreeing to give their profits away. And how can you force them? You can't. Nothing short of a worldwide communist revolution would make them and we all know how those turn out.
      I don't know how you could get the UHNWIs to make a one-off donation of say, 1% of their wealth, to put in a slush fund and pay for the transition from fossil fuels to renewables, but it would save a lot of businesses from going to the wall and enable them to keep providing employment.
      Still, humans have never been that good at sharing, have we? Not even in a crisis that could see the collapse of our entire civilisation. Can't see that changing overnight.

    • @hammer3353
      @hammer3353 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kittona8754 Yes it would. I’m not denying that climate change is real, but at the same time, the reality is the world still needs oil….and Russia happens to have a lot of it. The Democratic policies of the Biden administration have absolutely enabled Putin to do what he’s doing right now. We stop drilling for oil here, the U.S. and other countries become more dependent on oil from Putin…making him richer and more powerful than ever. Say what you want about Trump, but at least he was smart enough to realize that. The climate change policies are more about optics than anything else. It makes them feel better about themselves and appeases their voters, but are the policies really making a noticeable difference in climate change? Countries like China, India and Russia contribute far more to climate change than we do and that’s not going to change.
      As for a billionaires tax, I’d be all for it, but that’s also more about optics. It wouldn’t solve the problem of our government spending like drunken sailors. They don’t even try to balance a budget anymore. It’s sickening.

    I'm a hispanic from San Antonio and have always been a big spurs fan. David Robinson is my favorite but apparently Pop hasn't much time to do his research. My tips is, stay out of politics, stay away from corporate news and stick to coaching. He knows nothing of what working American veterans need and voted for. Trump has already done more than Obama (who I voted for) has done in 8 years. Please quit using your platform for your own opinions and coach or the Spurs and Mysa will loose fans the way Macys did.
