That's an interesting way that you put the corn in the planter. I really like it! I also really liked seeing the bugs in the dirt working away. And I couldn't decide what was the most interesting the roots or the leaves.

I used to be creeped out by roots as a kid but now I find the whole plant fascinating!!
Our corn plant is fruiting now .
What does fruiting mean? This is my first time growing absolutely anything and out corn has these flowers inside (and outside) now! I AM ECSTATIC!! But have no idea if what you’re saying is the same thing I see?

I just planted my first seed in a little 12 pod greenhouse type thing where you add water to these dirt pellets and they expand to about a inch and a half and place the seed in the hole in the middle and pat it down. I'm really looking forward to them sprouting and am excited I might actually start seeing some green pop out by this time next week so in the meantime I'll just water them everyday and keep an eye out for anything growing. wish me luck!

Thanks for the time lapse. I was worried for a bit that my corn seedlings were just sticks but looks like their first leaves are bigger than other seedlings and take longer to develop

I remember once I planted some popcorn kernels. Maybe 10. In a pot and it grew so large that we had to put it outside

Oh, nice. I also wanted to make a time lapse with my rotating display stand. But mine doesn't have timer on it. Does your stand have built-in timer or you are using an external one?
Finally found a use for the kernels at the bottom of the popcorn bag!

It's good to know corn seeds don't lift themselves up during germination. Rather they say at same level in soil.

How did you light the plants to grow normally? I also make videos like you but the plants are very slow growing due to lack of light
