@A--Fan @A--Fan Honestly, I'm used to it lmao. Growing up, I remember the discrimination of being 'the replaceable dishwasher' (it wasn't a 'cool trait' to be hispanic before 2008). Not sure what kind of miscommunication there is between people like myself and LGBTQ community is, but wish that some would put themselves in the others shoes sometimes rather than feel like the world revolves around them. Regardless, it's the way you react and treat these kinds of situations in order to bring peace.

See but a lot of those curious questions don't come respectfully thus making the interaction hostile in the first place. This interaction, though scripted, was respectful. He didn't look at her in disgust or insult her outright or backhandedly so she responded in kind. Do some people become defensive and rude when asked a genuine question about this sort of thing? Yes. But as stated, they're like that because they're used to people mistreating them or not asking respectfully/genuinely. Respect has to go both ways for interactions like this to be possible in the future when meeting someone different than you.

Liberals fundamentally don't understand the opposing arguments. I think conservatives generally do, but yes, I think a centralizing theme of liberalism is hypocrisy.
It's this idea that someone is threatening you when you are really the one going about threatening other people in the name of "tolerance." I realize it's because of a paranoia about conservatives doing that to you but for the most part, conservatives want more freedom, not less. If someone says "You shouldn't kill your baby, no matter how small," the idea that's an infringement on your freedom is morose.
