The Toyota Etios was first showcased at the 2010 Auto Expo in Delhi as a 'concept car'. Actual commercial production started in late 2010. The sedan version was launched in December 2010. The Petrol Engine and Transmission are made locally at Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts (TKAP), Bidadi, Karnataka, India.
Petrol: 4 Cylinder 16V, DOHC, 1496 cc engine, Electronic Fuel Injection, 90 PS power, 132 Nm torque, 16 kmpl average, 5-speed manual transmission, 45 litre fuel tank, 160 kmph top speed
Diesel: 4 Cylinder 8V, SOHC, 1364 cc engine, Common Rail Direct Injection, 68 PS power 170 Nm torque, 23 kmpl average
3 Variants: G/GD, V/VD, VX/VXD
7 Colors: Red, Grey, Silver, Beige, Pearl White, Black, White
Price range: Rs. 6.86 lakh - Rs. 8.88 lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi)

Handling is superb... interior might be lacking but no comparison in comfort... Nd the pick of the car is like anything.. if anyone looking for his 1st car then u can blindly consider dis as a best option..
Interior not much to say. But riding comfort u cant match with other.. Good for long rides.

The performance of petrol is always better then diesel... Only for the performance u are incurring extra running expenses my friend..

Best car me owns petrol version. Sleepy driving. Nothing beyond. Yaris, Honda city and others all fall similar. Good mileage (13-14 in city drive).

Most third class Car in India is Toyota Etios. Complaining the company about poor and defective suspension for the last one year, since the day of purchase June 2019, but no satisfactory response is there so far. I am suffering badly from the jerks of the car daily. But, the company is so adamant that neither it rectifies the suspension nor it replaces the defective product. This is the biggest mistake of my life. I would never advise anyone to purchase this car.

I have brought 3 months back (vxd) diesel. Comfort like Honda city , best family sedan. City mileage in metro traffic is 16 km per litre. Highway is 20 km per litre Low maintenance. Main dis advantage ( compare to maruti dezire , xcent) interior is very bad which need improvement. At last reliability and durability is good than maruthi and Hyundai.can go till 3-5 lakhs km
