A comment from Brazil: great performance! The only thing I would change was your comment about the division of rhythms in Brazil. Frevo is genuinely from Pernambuco and is also played in Bahia since early 40's. Both states are Northern. So you're right about Frevo being a Northern cultural expression. However, Samba is also from North Brazil. It was created in Bahia and evolved into many types all over the country such as Samba-Côco (Pernambuco), Samba duro (Bahia), Samba reggae (Bahia), Samba enredo (Rio de Janeiro), Partido alto (Rio de Janeiro) e etc etc.
So both Frevo and Samba are Northern rhythms but Samba was assimilated almost by all states and integrated multiple expressions.
