I have a question! In the first set of examples, would attaching to the other stone in black's shimari (on either side) just be a super defensive, wimpy move? I guess what I mean is, if I were to choose a stone to attach to, I would want to play closer to my strength (the bottom, as white), so I'd want to attach at either 3-6 or 17-7 (more likely 3-6, because I have a friend on that side of the board). I'm guessing that's because I'm a scaredy cat and paranoid of being eaten.
