I ground a punch to perfectly fit the sights and used electrical tape between the punch and sights to prevent marring. Red Loc-tite is permanent, so use orange which is three times stronger than blue but removeable. Also, put electrical tape between the sight and the punch, to protect the finish.
I'm not sure where we got the soft jaws from, but our friends at Brownell's would be my first guess. I know that's where the hammer (it's an engravers chasing hammer, marked FD German) and the brass punch came from.
@@jeffcooper5789, our machine shop makes a few parts out of brass barstock. Either myself or one of the other guys took it to a belt sander and beveled the ends to make a punch.
I have four Smith & Wesson bodyguard 2.0 none of them set screw holding the rear side on from the factory

Now, I'm a simple idiot, but I wouldn't locktite my sights until I sighted it in, but that's just me.
Not just you, I wouldn't be loctite anything either until after sighting in .. common sense
