what a messy job but in the long run it all adds up good video joe
Thanks for all the videos! You have the best workshop set up. I can't wait to see how you organize the workbench behind you.
Coming soon!
Stripping fire extinguishers was a very special video. Instead of posting as the third video of the day, you could have posted only one video in that day. Excellent video. I was waiting for this.
Thanks Phil. Always wondered what you would do with those. Good to know.
Very very nice video
As most of them are Alu it is Worth to strip them - some good Alu Metal and nice free Money - thanks for teaching us ! Great Video and many Cheers from Australia !!!!

Yes yes I have been waiting for this video
nice job
Thanks!
Great video
Been waiting for you to get to those. Yes very messy, not sure if I would ever do any of those if I had the chance. 👍
Super
Do you think putting a vaccum hose to the them would help at all? 🤷🤷 Cheers for the videos mate 😁👍
The chemical is quite harsh. Very soapy! Definitely do it outside in a well-ventilated space. My yard doesn't require them cut in half. Some of them take a long time to empty
Hi Phil Kinda dirty job but interesting vid.Enjoy vid and keep up the good work.Thx
Thanks 👍
👍👍👍
Phil, Does the reason you only strip aluminum fire extinguishers is because stripping the steel ones don't pay as much? Does it come down to what is your time worth?
👍
Next time try holding the bottom of extinguisher with a small two pound hammer tap the valve to your left untill you hear the seal pop it will bleed out slowly after it's done before removing the valve turn it up side down and with a rubber mallet bang two or three remove the valve dump the power
Can't you clean this powder with water?
Too much mess
Great video, as a fire extinguisher recycling company (Quality Environnement in France), I can tell you you can also sell the powder. If you don't know how, just contact us by the website.
Thanks for the info!
Pardon my ignorance but what is HMS
HMS is thick & heavy metal 3mm & bigger
@@CanadianTreasureHunter thanks
First one
I don't touch them honestly, too messy.
